NCT ID: NCT06358573 Not yet recruiting - Clinical trials for Triple-negative Breast Cancer

Intratumoral INT230-6 Followed by Neoadjuvant Immuno-chemotherapy in Patients With Early TNBC. INVINCIBLE-4-SAKK

Start date: June 30, 2024
Phase: Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

About 10-20% of all individuals with breast cancer have a so-called triple-negative tumor (TNBC). This type of breast cancer has a particularly unfavorable course and a higher mortality rate compared to other forms of breast cancer. Research studies show that it is important for individuals with TNBC to achieve a so-called pathologic complete response (pCR) to treatment. In the phase II study SAKK 66/22, it is being investigated whether the administration of the drug INT230-6 before surgery for breast cancer can increase the rate of pCR in the tumor and affected lymph nodes. The tolerability of INT230-6 as well as other factors such as response to treatment and the possibility of breast-conserving surgery are also being examined.

NCT ID: NCT06357689 Completed - Breast Cancer Clinical Trials

Association of SNPs in Long Intergenic Noncoding RNA 00511 (LINC00511) With Breast Cancer Among the Egyptian Population

Start date: October 24, 2021
Phase:
Study type: Observational

Long non-coding RNAs (lncRNAs) play an important role in different types of cancer, including breast cancer, through regulation of gene expression and epigenetic signatures. Genetic variations such as single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs) in lncRNAs have been found to be associated with cancer. Our aim was to provide information about the role of LINC00511 SNPs (rs11657109 or rs17780195 or rs9906859, rs4432291 and rs1558535) in breast cancer susceptibility in the Egyptian population.

Differential Expression and Potential Value of c-MYC in Non-Invasive and Invasive Mammary Carcinoma

Start date: March 19, 2024
Phase:
Study type: Observational

Retrospective observational study to evaluate c-MYC expression in non invasive and invasive mammry carcinoma

NCT ID: NCT06356519 Recruiting - Breast Cancer Clinical Trials

Real-world Effectiveness and Safety Study of Sacituzumab Govitecan in Chinese Metastatic Breast Cancer

Start date: March 1, 2024

NCT ID: NCT06355440 Recruiting - Clinical trials for Breast Neoplasm Female

Pilot Study of Financial Navigation Program for Improving Financial Toxicity Among Breast Cancer in China

Start date: March 18, 2024
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

The goal of this pilot study is to access the feasibility and impact of a financial navigation program on improving financial toxicity among patients with breast cancer in China. The main questions it aims to answer are: - Is the intervention feasible and acceptable among participants? - Does the intervention enhance participants' cost-related health literacy? - Does the intervention reduce participants' financial toxicity? Researchers will compare the financial navigation program with usual oncology care to preliminarily evaluate its effectiveness. Participants will receive comprehensive information support, including: - Strategies on patient-physician costs discussion - Skills for inquiring and tracking treatment-related costs - Basic knowledge about health insurance - Guidance on accessing and applying for financial assistance - Suggestions for returning to normal life and work - Strategies for holding a financial-related family meeting

NCT ID: NCT06352567 Recruiting - Breast Cancer Clinical Trials

Symptoms Associated With Chemotherapy-Induced Peripheral Neuropathy

Start date: January 18, 2024
Phase:
Study type: Observational

Breast cancer remains the most frequent type of cancer globally. Nevertheless, the increased rate of disease-free survival of breast cancer brought the specific need of managing of short and long-term side effects of multimodal treatment. Chemotherapy-induced peripheral neuropathy (CIPN) is one of the most debilitating conditions which is characterized by a wide variety of experienceable symptoms by patients that need to be addressed in detail. Therefore, in this cross-sectional study, it was aimed to assess the potential symptoms associated with CIPN of patients with breast cancer who underwent systemic chemotherapy. In addition, it was aimed to assess the potential associations between experienced symptoms of CIPN and sociodemographic (age, body mass index etc.) and clinical features (mean exposed dose, type of surgery (if any) etc.).
