Filter by:Aim of this project is the building-up of an integrated model of multidisciplinary research tools to support large-scale and high-quality disease-based studies.
To evaluate the drug-drug interaction of PK101-001 and PK101-002 in healthy volunteers.
Patients who tear their ACL are at high risk for developing arthritis (post-traumatic osteoarthritis-PTOA) just 10 years later. Joint bleeding and inflammation contribute to deterioration of joint health. This study will determine whether treatment with Tranexamic Acid (TXA), an FDA approved medication that reduces bleeding right after ACL injury and reconstructive surgery reduces inflammation and improves joint health as a new strategy to prevent or delay the onset of PTOA.
A long term study to demonstrate the safety of Tildrakizumab in Subjects with Psoriatic Arthritis who Have Previously Completed Study with Tildrakizumab
Rheumatoid Arthritis (RA) is an inflammatory rheumatic disease that can lead to structural damage and handicap. The RA physiopathology is multifactorial, including genetic and environmental risk factors. The identification of environmental factors implication is crucial to understand the RA mechanism, and improves the diagnosis and the treatment of the disease.
This is a single center exploratory imaging study investigating the initial application of zirconium-89 Deferoxamine B Certolizumab pegol (89Zr-DFO-CZP) PET in patients with rheumatoid arthritis. Patients with active symptoms of RA or signs on physical exam will be invited to participate for PET imaging.
Rheumatoid arthritis (RA) is a chronic autoimmune disease that causes joint inflammation and progressive joint destruction. Rheumatoid cachexia is one of the structural manifestations of RA, and consists of a reduction in muscle mass, due to an increased muscle protein catabolism induced by inflammatory cytokines. This muscle mass loss generates an impairment in physical function and functional capacity in RA patients. The aim of study was to verify neuromuscular and functional responses in middle-aged women with RA compared to paired healthy women.
This multi-site, observational, prospective study aims to investigate current practice and associated outcomes for patients scheduled for elective unilateral total hip or knee arthroplasty in South Africa. This information will provide baseline values, against which effects of implementing a multidisciplinary enhanced care protocol for arthroplasty patients will be compared (the subsequent study).
Purpose of Study: To identify and provide a safe, opioid-free treatment pathway for shoulder arthroplasty with a focus on perioperative pain control and postoperative symptoms from treatment
Observational and prospective study of the ultrasound response to methotrexate in rheumatoid arthritis patients who started methotrexate
