View clinical trials related to Aneurysm.
Filter by:Consecutive patients with severe mitral stenosis and clot in left atrial appendage (LAA) on transesophageal echocardiography fulfilling the inclusion criteria will be recruited for this study. An ACUSON 128-XP echocardiographic system equipped with omniplane and biplane transesophageal probes will be used for this study. TEE followed by CT Angiography will be performed according to the standard procedure after obtaining informed consent.
The main objective of the CARE-ANEURYSM project is to evaluate inflammation and clotting abnormalities in patients with aneurysmal coronary artery disease in relation to patients with abdominal aortic aneurysm or coronary artery disease (acting as controls).
A prospective, multi-center, objective performance criteria clinical trial to evaluate the safety and efficacy of WeFlow-JAAA stent graft system manufactured by Hangzhou Endonom Medtech Co., Ltd. for the complex abdominal aortic aneurysm.
This is a Hellenic Registry including both retrospective and prospective subjects receiving the Ovation Alto™ Abdominal Stent Graft System ("Ovation Alto™ Abdominal Stent Graft System Post-Market Study") in the treatment of abdominal aortic aneurysms (AAA). The Ovation Alto™ Hellenic Registry is intended to expand the clinical knowledge base by collecting data on subjects treated with the Ovation Alto™ Abdominal Stent Graft System in actual clinical practice during the first post-operative year.
Rationale: Intrasaccular neck occlusion devices have been used for unruptured aneurysm without safety concerns and good occlusion rates. In the setting of a subarachnoid hemorrhage, they could improve the rate of complete occlusion without safety concerns. Aim: To explore the safety and efficacy of intrasaccular neck occlusion devices in patients with acute subarachnoid hemorrhage caused by a ruptured saccular aneurysm by a one arm prospective registry. Study outcome: The primary outcomes is the rate of complete occlusion (Raymond-Roy I) and rebleeding at one year follow-up. The primary safety outcome is rate of rebleeding during the admission.
Intracranial aneurysms located on the middle cerebral artery (MCA) are considered by many surgeons to represent a distinct subgroup of aneurysms for which clipping may still be the best management option. Most MCA aneurysms are accessible, proximal control can readily be secured in case of rupture, and clip application can typically proceed without requiring the dissection of perforating arteries. In comparison, certain anatomic features of MCA aneurysms such as a wide neck, often including a branch artery origin, frequently render endovascular management more difficult. New endovascular devices were and continue to be introduced to address these anatomic difficulties, including stents, flow diverters, and intra-saccular flow disruptors (ISFDs) such as the WEB. Thus, while most aneurysms are increasingly treated with endovascular methods, many MCA aneurysm patients are still managed surgically, but convincing evidence of which management paradigm is best is lacking.
This is an observational cohort study addressing the incidence of cerebral microemboli and alterations of cerebral hemodynamic physiology of the Relay®Branch thoracic stent-graft system.
This prospective, multi-center, non-randomized, single-blinded, open-label, single-arm, comparator study will enroll up to 100 eligible subjects from multiple sites undergoing LAAC procedure to evaluate the safety and performance of the KALPA™ mapping, imaging and navigation device in patients undergoing Left Atrial Appendage Closure (LAAC).
The purpose of the registry is to evaluate the peri-operative and short- term outcomes of intercostal nerves cryoablation for post-operative pain control after open thoracic and thoracoabdominal aortic aneurysms repair. The cryoablation procedure is one of the opportunities for pain control after thoracotomy. So, it is routinely performed in major several centers in aortic surgery around the world as a part of the TAA and TAAA procedure. The Registry will include approximately 200 patients treated from January 2022 to January 2024 for thoracic or thoracoabdominal aortic aneurysm by means of open surgery and in whom intraoperative intercostal nerves cryoablation will be performed; to reach 200 patients, the enrolments can be extended until January 2027.
The main objective of this study is to better estimate the rate of infectious intracranial aneurysms (IIA) in proved infective endocarditis (IE). It also aims to identify MRI markers capable of accurately predicting (or excluding) IIA; to assess the impact of the different MRI abnormalities on the outcome; to capture the real-world management of EI with neurological complications in comprehensive IE centers in France
