NCT ID: NCT05956873 Completed - Clinical trials for Thoracoabdominal Aortic Aneurysm

Endovascular Aortic Repair of Free and Contained Ruptured Thoraco-Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm

REVAR-TAAA
Start date: January 1, 2015
Phase:
Study type: Observational

Ruptured thoracoabdominal aortic aneurysm (TAAA) represents an emergency medical challenge that needs to be treated promptly. Over the past years different endovascular techniques have emerged such as fenestrated or branched endovascular aortic repair (FB-EVAR). However, FB-EVAR is a technique that uses a custom-made device which needs to be manufactured and this process take months, therefore, it could not be used in urgent settings. Off-the-shelf graft stents are pre-made graft stents, which can be used in urgent cases. A retrospective, multicenter cohort study was planned to include patients who underwent endovascular procedures between January 2015 and January 2022 (85 months) to evaluate the technical and survival outcomes of the use of off-the-shelf stent graft, physician-modified endograft and parallel graft technique in endovascular aortic repair of free and contained ruptured TAAA. Data will be collected anonymously and retrospectively, including patient demographics, risk factors, diagnosis and anatomical details, procedure details and post-operative outcomes.

NCT ID: NCT05686733 Completed - Aneurysm Clinical Trials

Pre-SEAL™IT: Saccular Endovascular Aneurysm Lattice System First In Human Interventional Trial

Pre-SEAL™IT
Start date: January 26, 2022
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

To establish the preliminary safety and effectiveness of the SEAL™ Endovascular Aneurysm Lattice System for the treatment of saccular intracranial aneurysms. The data from this study will be used to support: 1. EU CE Mark labelling 2. US FDA Investigational Device Exemption (IDE) approval support of PMA approval.

NCT ID: NCT04439760 Completed - Brain Aneurysm Clinical Trials

Superior Cervical Ganglion Block, Transcranial Doppler

Start date: October 1, 2020
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

The aim of this study is to assess blood flow velocity in middle cerebral artery measured by transcranial doppler to determine the efficacy of SCG block in decreasing incidence or severity of vasospasm after MCA aneurysm surgery.

NCT ID: NCT03320408 Completed - Clinical trials for Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm

Predicting Aneurysm Growth and Rupture With Longitudinal Biomarkers

PARIS
Start date: October 4, 2017
Phase:
Study type: Observational [Patient Registry]

First aim: PARIS study The main aim of the current study is to determine the association between abdominal aortic aneurysm (AAA) progression and the evolution of proteases and cytokines levels. To achieve this aim, we will prospectively collect blood, aortic tissue, patient data, and imaging data. Aortic tissue will only be obtained when patients undergo conventional open repair. The other biomaterials will be collected during regular patient follow-up visits, with a maximum frequency of once per year. Second aim: Pearl AAA biobank For future research purposes, a new biobanking infrastructure will be created to collect and store additional blood and urine samples in a biobank. This biobank will be embedded within the infrastructure of the 'Parelsnoer Institute' (PSI) and will be called Pearl AAA. The Pearl AAA will be established in the extension of the PARIS study

NCT ID: NCT02687607 Completed - Brain Aneurysm Clinical Trials

CLARYS: CLinical Assessment of WEB® Device in Ruptured aneurYSms

CLARYS
Start date: January 2016
Phase:
Study type: Observational [Patient Registry]

An observational non-randomized, multi-center, prospective assessment of the clinical utility of the WEB Aneurysm Embolization System in subjects with ruptured intracranial aneurysms deemed appropriate for endovascular treatment. The population being treated in this Registry is a subset of the CE marked indication.

NCT ID: NCT02099318 Completed - Clinical trials for Cerebral Aneurysm Unruptured

Surgical Theater's Surgery Rehearsal Platform

SRP
Start date: February 2013
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

Objectives: The objective of this clinical study is to determine if the use of the SRP will lead to improved effort and time efficiency in cerebral aneurysm surgery. For this preliminary study, the investigators will assess key time and effort variables associated with prospectively assessed SRP neurosurgery cases in comparison with cases with no SRP rehearsal. This is a single site study with one enrolling site. This study will include a total of 40 cases 20 SRP cases and 20 control cases). SRP and control cases will be randomly selected according to a predetermined alternating sequence.

NCT ID: NCT00823485 Completed - Clinical trials for Subarachnoid Hemorrhage

Clinical Efficacy of In-situ Thrombolysis in Case of Intraventricular Haemorraghia by Aneurysm Rupture

Start date: October 2005
Phase: Phase 2/Phase 3
Study type: Interventional

The purpose of this study is to determine the impact of in situ fibrinolysis on the mortality at 30 days in case of subarachnoid hemorrhage.
