Septic shock is a frequent complication associated with high mortality in patients with malignancies. The best transfusion strategy (restrictive or liberal) for the resuscitation of septic shock remains a controversial issue, in relation with potentially discrepant goals of tissue oxygenation and transfusion sparing. In this study, the investigators propose to address the efficacy of two RBC transfusion strategies (liberal or restrictive) in restoring appropriate tissue oxygenation as well as their tolerance. The investigators designed a prospective randomized multicenter trial aimed at comparing liberal and restrictive RBC transfusion strategies applied during the first 48 hours of resuscitation in cancer patients with septic shock and anemia.
The objective of this cluster-randomized efficacy feeding trial was to determine the effects of consuming iron-biofortified beans (Fe-Beans) on iron status in children, compared to control beans (Control-Beans). A cluster-randomized trial of biofortified beans (Phaseolus vulgaris L), bred to enhance iron content, was conducted for 6 months.
Co-design of a home-based anaemia monitoring system with participants who have previous diagnosis of anaemia.
Anemia is the commonest hematological disorder that occurs in pregnancy. According to the recent standard laid down by 'WHO', anemia is present when the Hemoglobin (Hb) concentration in the peripheral blood is 11 gm/dl or less. The most common cause of anemia in pregnancy is lack of iron. This study is done to compare the efficacy and tolerability of iron amino acid chelate and that of iron salts (ferrous fumarat).
This is an open-labeled, single arm, Phase II, two staged study of combination of ibrutinib and rituximab in patients with autoimmune cytopenia and underlying CLL. In stage I (remission induction) patients will receive ibrutinib and rituximab for 6 months; in stage II (maintenance) - only ibrutinib until relapse, progression or unacceptable toxicity. A total of 50 patients will be enrolled into the trial. The results will be compared to historical control, efficacy of rituximab as monotherapy or in combination with chemotherapy in patients with AIC and underlying CLL.
This is a multicenter, randomized, placebo-control, phase III study to investigate hetrombopag in subjects with severe AA who are treated naive. 180 treated naive patients with SAA will be enrolled in the study. The primary objective of the study will be the rate of complete hematologic response at six months.

The aim of this study is to diagnose anemia in fetuses through the use of ultrasound.
Iron deficiency anaemia (IDA) in postoperative patients with confirmed preoperative iron deficiency (ID) in a population with planned major surgery who need fast replenishment of iron as judged by the treating physician will be treated with i.v. iron using Polyglucoferron, Ferric Carboxymaltose or oral iron
