NCT ID: NCT05320809 Active, not recruiting - Multiple Myeloma Clinical Trials

Study of 3D189 in Patients With Hematologic Malignancies

Start date: August 1, 2022
Phase: Phase 1
Study type: Interventional

To assess the safety, immunogenicity and preliminary efficacy of 3D189 in patients with hematological malignancies.

NCT ID: NCT04339101 Active, not recruiting - Clinical trials for Myelodysplastic Syndrome

Itacitinib, Tacrolimus, and Sirolimus for the Prevention of GVHD in Patients With Acute Leukemia, Myelodysplastic Syndrome, or Myelofibrosis Undergoing Reduced Intensity Conditioning Donor Stem Cell Transplantation

Start date: November 11, 2020
Phase: Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

This phase IIa trial studies the side effects of itacitinib when given together with standard treatment (tacrolimus and sirolimus), and to see how well it works in preventing graft-versus-host-disease (GVHD) in patients with acute leukemia, myelodysplastic syndrome or myelofibrosis who are undergoing reduced intensity conditioning donor stem cell transplantation. GVHD is a common complication after donor stem cell transplantation, resulting from donor immune cells recognizing recipients' cells and attacking them. Adding itacitinib to tacrolimus and sirolimus may reduce the risk GVHD and ultimately improve overall outcome and survival after donor stem cell transplantation.

NCT ID: NCT04281199 Active, not recruiting - Clinical trials for Myelodysplastic Syndrome

TBI Using IMRT (VMAT or Tomotherapy) for the Prevention of Pul Toxicities in Patients Undergoing Donor SCT

Start date: February 28, 2020
Phase: Phase 1
Study type: Interventional

This trial studies how well radiation therapy techniques, volumetric modulated arc therapy (VMAT) and tomotherapy, work to reduce doses to the lung compared to standard total body irradiation methods to prevent pulmonary toxicities. Standard total body irradiation is limited in its ability to spare normal organs, with only the lung being partially spared by lung blocks and risks the development of pulmonary toxicities. Reducing the doses to the lung using VMAT or tomotherapy may improve survival and decrease long term lung side effects in patients undergoing stem cell transplant.

NCT ID: NCT03792256 Active, not recruiting - Acute Leukemia Clinical Trials

Palbociclib in Combination With Chemotherapy in Treating Children With Relapsed Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL) or Lymphoblastic Lymphoma (LL)

Start date: April 11, 2019
Phase: Phase 1
Study type: Interventional

AINV18P1 is a Phase 1 study where palbociclib will be administrated in combination with a standard re-induction platform in pediatric relapsed Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL) and lymphoblastic lymphoma (LL). LL patients are included because the patient population is rare and these patients are most commonly treated with ALL regimens. The proposed palbociclib starting dose for this study will be 50 mg/m^2/day for 21 days.

NCT ID: NCT03735797 Active, not recruiting - Acute Leukemia Clinical Trials

Cancer Stem Cells in Acute Leukemia

Start date: July 12, 2017
Phase:
Study type: Observational

Descriptive study of acute leukemia patients. Bone marrow aspirate or peripheral blood samples will be analyzed by next-generation sequencing for novel gene signatures and variations in transcriptional and epigenetic regulatory elements such as ARID5B and SALL4 variants.

NCT ID: NCT03595800 Active, not recruiting - Multiple Myeloma Clinical Trials

Extension of a Study of Allogeneic Hematopoietic Stem Cell Transplantation From One Haplotype Mismatch Related Donor or From an Unrelated Donor to Younger Patients Eligible for Reduced-intensity Conditioning Regimen

HaploMUD-RIC
Start date: September 19, 2017
Phase: Phase 3
Study type: Interventional

This study is an extension to younger patients of the currently ongoing national, multicenter, open-label, randomized phase III HAPLOMUDELDERLY which evaluates elderly patients with hematological malignancies, justifying an allo-HSCT from an alternative donor when a MRD has not been identified. It will extend the investigation of these two modalities of allo-HSCT to younger patients which are eligible to RIC.

NCT ID: NCT03434730 Active, not recruiting - Leukemia Clinical Trials

Tocilizumab for the Prevention of Graft Versus Host Disease After Cord Blood Transplantation

Start date: February 7, 2018
Phase: Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

The aim of the research in this study is to make participants' transplant safer by reducing the risk of developing GVHD and GVHD-related complications by giving participants a dose of the drug tocilizumab in addition to the standard approach for GVHD prevention. Tocilizumab reduces the risk of inflammation by blocking the effect of Interleukin-6, a protein that exists in high levels in the blood when there is inflammation. Participants who receive stem cell transplants have high levels of this protein in their blood early after transplant. Therefore, the goal of this study is to reduce the risk of inflammation after transplant with the addition of Tocilizumab. This could decrease the risk of developing GVHD and GVHD-associated complications.

NCT ID: NCT03178617 Active, not recruiting - Clinical trials for Acute Myeloid Leukemia

High-Intensity Parent Intervention Program in Improving Learning and School Functioning in Latino Children With Acute Leukemia or Lymphoblastic Lymphoma

Start date: February 14, 2018
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

This randomized clinical trial studies how well a high-intensity intervention parenting program works in improving learning and school functioning in Latino children with acute leukemia or lymphoblastic lymphoma. A high-intensity intervention program may help doctors to see whether training parents or caregivers in specific parenting skills and "pro-learning" behaviors will result in better learning and school outcomes for Latino children with acute leukemia or lymphoblastic lymphoma. It is not yet known if a high-intensity intervention program is more beneficial than a standard of care lower intensity parenting intervention.

NCT ID: NCT02752243 Active, not recruiting - Clinical trials for Myelodysplastic Syndromes

CIK-Cells in Relapsing Patients With Acute Leukemia or Myelodysplastic Syndromes After SCT.

Start date: March 2016
Phase: Phase 1/Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

Multi-site, non-randomized Phase I/II study involving children and adults.

NCT ID: NCT02730299 Active, not recruiting - Lymphoma Clinical Trials

Stem Cell Transplantation With NiCord® (Omidubicel) vs Standard UCB in Patients With Leukemia, Lymphoma, and MDS

Start date: December 16, 2016
Phase: Phase 3
Study type: Interventional

This study is an open-label, controlled, multicenter, international, Phase III, randomized study of transplantation of NiCord® versus transplantation of one or two unmanipulated, unrelated cord blood units in patients with acute lymphoblastic leukemia or acute myeloid leukemia, myelodysplastic syndrome, chronic myeloid leukemia or lymphoma, all with required disease features rendering them eligible for allogeneic transplantation.
