Filter by:The goal of this observational study is to expand the knowledge about development and aggreviation of diabetes mellitus in patients with giant cell arthritis and polymyalgia rheumatica. The main questions it aims to answer are: - To identify the risk of comorbidities, especially diabetes, in patients with giant cell arthritis and polymyalgia rheumatica, treated with glucocorticoids in combination with or without interleukin-6 inhibitor. - To identify clinical outcomes and biomarkers as potential predictors for development or aggregation of already existing diabetes mellitus in patients with giant cell arthritis or polymyalgia rheumatica using machine learning prediction. Participants will be followed at their respective rheumatology clinic, and will be asked to deliver blood samples at predefined visits.
Clinical information of children with ANCA-associated nephritis admitted to Children's Hospital Affiliated to Chongqing Medical University and partner centers from January 1, 2023 to December 31, 2023 was collected: To evaluate and compare the differences in survival, renal outcomes, and adverse reactions in children with ANCA-associated nephritis given different interventions according to the revised PARRG risk stratification, and to evaluate the superiority of ANCA-associated nephritis given according to the revised PARRG risk stratification. (2) To evaluate the efficacy and safety of glucocorticoid combined with rituximab and cyclophosphamide as induction regimen in high-risk group and glucocorticoid combined with rituximab as induction regimen in children with ANCA-associated nephritis (AAGN) in low and middle risk group based on PARRG risk stratification
This study is a prospective, open-labelled, randomized, controlled, single-center clinical trial. The aim of this study is to compare the remission rate of patients treated with Telitacicept combined with azathioprine and azathioprine alone in remission-maintenance treatment of AAV.
This study is a prospective, open-labelled, randomized, controlled, single-center clinical trial. The aim of this study is to investigate the remission rate of patients treated with Telitacicept combined with Rituximab in remission-induction and Telitacicept alone in remission-maintain treatment.
Longitudinal prospective multicenter Armenian registry of systemic autoimmune, autoinflammatory diseases with constitution of bio-banking.
The Avacostar PASS is a non-interventional, multi-national, prospective cohort study that will collect data from 2 cohorts of patients: those treated with avacopan for active severe AAV, and a second cohort treated with a cyclophosphamide or rituximab-based induction regimen without avacopan for active severe AAV. The overall study duration is anticipated to be up to 7 years, including a recruitment period of approximately 3 years.
Introduction: Patients with autoimmune rheumatic diseases (ARDs), rheumatoid arthritis (RA), juvenile idiopathic arthritis (JIA), psoriatic arthritis (PAs), ankylosing spondylitis (AS), systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE), primary Sjögren's syndrome (pSS) , systemic sclerosis (SSc), idiopathic inflammatory myopathies (IIM) and primary vasculitides, have a high risk of herpes zoster (HZ) infection. This increased susceptibility is caused by a deficient cell-mediated immune response due to the underlying disease and glucocorticoid and immunosuppressive treatments that impair the T-cell response, including conventional and unconventional synthetic disease-modifying anti-rheumatic drugs (DMARDs) and biological agents. In this context, the recent availability of a recombinant vaccine against HZ (RZV or Shingrix®), composed of recombinant VZV glycoprotein E (gE) and the AS01B adjuvant system (HZ/su), is a major progress regarding safety for immunosuppressed patients. Its effectiveness, however, has been clearly demonstrated for non-immunosuppressed patients and in selected populations of immunocompromised individuals. There are no prospective controlled studies evaluating the immunogenicity of RZV and its impact on the activity of the underlying disease, as well as its safety in patients with ARDs at high-risk for HZ. Hypothesis: RZV has a good safety profile, including with respect to underlying rheumatic disease activity, in patients with ARDs at high risk of HZ. Objectives: Primary: To assess the short-term safety profile in relation to underlying disease activity in patients with ARDs at high risk of HZ immunized with RZV compared to unvaccinated patients. Secondary: To evaluate the general safety of the vaccine in patients with ARDs at high risk of HZ immunized with RZV and non-immunosuppressed control subjects (CG); the humoral and cellular immunogenicity of RZV in patients with ARDs at high risk of HZ compared to CG; the influence of disease treatment on vaccine response; the 12-month persistence of humoral immunogenicity and incident cases of HZ. Specific studies will also be carried out to evaluate the effect of drug withdrawal (methotrexate-MTX and mycophenolate mofetil-MMF) after vaccination in increasing the immune response in patients with ARDs with controlled underlying disease.
This is an investigator initiated trial to assess the efficacy and safety of BRL-301 in the relapse or refractory autoimmune diseases of China.
Primary central nervous system vasculitis (CNSV) is a potentially fatal, single-organ vasculitis that often involves a spectrum of neurologic complications, including strokes, cognitive and speech impairment, visual loss, dementia, and encephalopathy. The purpose of this study is to establish a research cohort to investigate the disease process, treatments, and patient outcomes in CNSV.
The goal of this clinical study is to evaluate multiple dose levels of povetacicept (ALPN-303) in adults with immunoglobulin A (IgA) nephropathy, membranous nephropathy, lupus-related kidney disease (lupus nephritis). or anti-neutrophil cytoplasmic antibody (ANCA) associated vasculitis to determine if povetacicept is safe and potentially beneficial in treating these diseases. During the study treatment period, participants will receive povetacicept approximately every 4 weeks for 6 months, with the possibility of participating in a 6-month treatment extension period and an optional 52 week treatment extension period.
