View clinical trials related to Umbilical Cord Milking.
Filter by:the study is conducted on the different actions on umbilical cord clamping including immediate cord clamping (ICC) , delayed cord clamping (DCC) for 30 seconds and umbilical cord milking (UCM) for 10-15 seconds in females that are delivered by elective cesarean section , to assess the neonatal outcomes including Hemoglobin and Hematocrit levels after birth in the newborn and the bilirubin level after 72 hrs
To compare the neonatal hemoglobin (Hb) in late preterm between one-time versus three-times of umbilical cord milking (UCM)
The investigators hypothesise that intact umbilical cord milking (I-UCM) will reduce neonatal morbidity and improve long term neurodevelopmental outcome in very preterm infants. All babies born less than 32 weeks gestation, meeting the inclusion criteria will be randomly assigned to either I-UCM or immediate cord clamping (ICC) and their short and long term outcome measures analyzed.
Comparing the beneficial effect of cord milking versus deferred cord clamping in preterm neonates. A randomized controlled trial
The objective of this pilot study is to investigate the feasibility of performing umbilical cord milking in neonates who are depressed at birth.
