NCT ID: NCT05432050 Not yet recruiting - Anesthesia, General Clinical Trials

Bispectral Index and Patient State Index During General Anesthesia With Remimazolam

Start date: July 1, 2022
Phase:
Study type: Observational

The aim of this study is to compare the bispectral index (BIS) and patient state index (PSI) during general anesthesia using remimazolam. The infusion rate of remimazolam is 6-12mg/kg/h during induction of anesthesia and 1-2mg/kg/h during maintenance of anesthesia. To calculate the fraction, the sum of times when BIS<60 and PSI <50 will be divided by the time from the loss of consciousness during induction of anesthesia to fully awake during emergence. We will compare the fraction of BIS <60 and the fraction of PSI <50 to find if there is some difference between the two depth of anesthesia monitoring devices during remimazolam anesthesia.

NCT ID: NCT05428371 Not yet recruiting - Thyroid Cancer Clinical Trials

Assessment the Cancer Risk of Indeterminate Thyroid Nodules Through Integration of Clinical, Ultrasonographic and Multiomic Features

THYOMICS
Start date: January 1, 2023
Phase:
Study type: Observational

Indeterminate thyroid nodules have a mild risk of malignancy (15-30%). The aim of our study is to individuate new biomarkers of thyroid carcinoma through multiomic analyses of blood samples and of specimen samples of patients with indeterminate thyroid nodules.

NCT ID: NCT05407506 Not yet recruiting - Thyroid Nodule Clinical Trials

Clinical Study of Ultrasonic Artificial Intelligence and Fine Needle Aspiration in Qualitative Diagnosis of Thyroid Nodules

Start date: June 2022
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

To study the value of thyroid artificial intelligence diagnosis system and fine needle puncture in the diagnosis of benign and malignant thyroid nodules, so as to provide evidence-based medical evidence for the diagnosis of benign and malignant thyroid nodules by artificial intelligence.

NCT ID: NCT05323669 Not yet recruiting - Thyroid Cancer Clinical Trials

Molecular Profile of Thyroid Nodules

MPTN
Start date: April 11, 2022
Phase:
Study type: Observational

Profiling and comparative analysis of genomic alterations and miRNA expression in benign and malignant thyroid tumors using histological and cytological specimens will be performed. Obtained information is necessary to create a molecular test to refine the cancer risk of cytologically indeterminate thyroid nodules.

NCT ID: NCT05265819 Not yet recruiting - Thyroid Cancer Clinical Trials

Effect of Exergaming Exercises and Mediterranean Diet on Thyroid Cancer Patients Following Total Thyroidectomy

Start date: March 1, 2022
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

Effect of exergaming exercises and mediteranean diet on thyroid cancer patients following total thyroidectomy adult patients from both gender will be randomly assigned equally to exergaming exercises, Mediterranean diet groups using computer-generated block randomization. Group A: Control group No intervention was provided for 12 weeks except thyroid hormone replacement therapy Group B: Exergaming exercise The volunteers carried out 36 exergaming sessions, with progressive increase in the duration of the games according to their tolerance, and reached a maximum duration of 50 minutes per session, included the realization of the games and the rest between activities. The exergaming protocol was performed three times a week, for a total of 12 weeks Group C: Mediterranean diet All participants participated in the Mediterranean diet intervention for 12 weak and received dietary training from professional nutritionists at the baseline visit and samples of a Mediterranean diet for three times during the trial.PREDIMED questionnaire is used To assess adherence to the Mediterranean diet Group D: Exergaming exercises and Mediterranean diet Exergaming exercises are used in addition to Mediterranean diet

NCT ID: NCT05243979 Not yet recruiting - Thyroid Clinical Trials

The Relation Between Thyroid , Parathyroid Hormones and eGFR in CKD Patients in Assiut

Start date: March 1, 2022
Phase:
Study type: Observational

To evaluate the relation between thyroid, parathyroid hormones and estimated glomerular filtration rate in chronic kidney disease .

NCT ID: NCT05124938 Not yet recruiting - Thyroid Cancer Clinical Trials

Assessment of CA 19-9 in Patients' With Thyroid Malignancies

Start date: December 1, 2021
Phase:
Study type: Observational

Thyroid cancer is a rare disease that represents approximately 3.8% of all new cancer cases.Incidence of thyroid cancer in north Africa about 2.8% of all new cancer cases with mortality rate about 0.73%.Thyroid malignancies are classified into different groups as follows:Papillary thyroid cancer which is the most common form of thyroid cancer form about 80-90% of all thyroid cancers,Follicular thyroid cancer that forms about 10-15% of all thyroid cancers,Anaplastic thyroid cancer that forms less than 2% of all thyroid cancers,Medullary thyroid cancer that forms about 5-10% and other rare types include thyroid lymphoma, and thyroid sarcoma. Medullary thyroid carcinoma (MTC) is a rare disease, and its classic tumor marker is calcitonin. However, recently, very aggressive cases have been reported to also secrete carbohydrate antigen 19-9 (CA19-9), and its role as a marker of worse prognosis has been questioned.

NCT ID: NCT05103774 Not yet recruiting - Clinical trials for Value of Thyroid Functions in Children With Congenital Heart Diseases

Thyroid Functions in Children With Congenital Heart Diseases

Start date: December 1, 2021
Phase:
Study type: Observational

Thyroid hormone is critical for normal neurocognitive development in young infants, and even transient hypothyroidism can cause adverse neurodevelopmental outcomes. In a population of infants with CHD who already bear a high risk of long-term developmental delay, detection of hypothyroidism, even of a transient nature, may be even more consequential, and routine periodic monitoring of thyroid function may be necessary to reduce the risk of neurodevelopmental disabilities

NCT ID: NCT04919694 Not yet recruiting - Clinical trials for Thyroid Associated Ophthalmopathy

Combination of Orbital Compression Surgery and Strabismus Surgery for Thyroid Associated Ophthalmopathy

Start date: July 1, 2021
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

The purpose of this study is to determine whether combination of orbital compression surgery with strabismus surgery is better than strabismus surgery after orbital compression surgery in the treatment of moderate-to-severe thyroid associated ophthalmopathy

NCT ID: NCT04916262 Not yet recruiting - Clinical trials for Differentiated Thyroid Carcinoma

Correlation Between TCM Syndrome Factors and TSH Changes of Thyroid Hormone Withdrawal Before Iodine Therapy in Postoperative Patients With Thyroid Cancer

Start date: June 20, 2021
Phase:
Study type: Observational

The purpose of this study is to make a dialectical classification of patients who will receive 131I treatment after operation of thyroid cancer from the point of view of dialectics of syndrome elements of traditional Chinese medicine. By observing the changes of TSH among patients with different syndrome types, investigators can better understand the reasons for the differences in TSH changes among patients. Thus, it provides a basis for putting forward the scheme of stopping taking levothyroxine before iodine treatment, improving the quality of life of patients after radical thyroidectomy, and providing reference for individualized guidance of the timing of radioactive iodine therapy for patients after DTC.
