Filter by:This phase I/II trial studies the best dose and side effects of venetoclax and how well it works in combination with ixazomib and dexamethasone in treating patients with t(11;14) negative multiple myeloma that has come back or does not respond to treatment. Ixazomib may stop the growth of cancer cells by blocking some of the enzymes needed for cell growth. Drugs used in chemotherapy, such as venetoclax and dexamethasone work in different ways to stop the growth of cancer cells, either by killing the cells, by stopping them from dividing, or by stopping them from spreading. It is not yet known how well venetoclax works with ixazomib and dexamethasone in treating patients with multiple myeloma.
