The ASOLO-SCI investigation is a Post Market Clinical Follow-up (PMCF) study to investigate the safety and performance of the Avance® Solo NPWT System in treating low to moderate exuding surgically closed incisions for up to 14 days when used in accordance with the Instructions for Use (IfU).
The investigators propose a prospective randomized control trial testing the hypothesis that routine topical antibiotic prophylaxis does not significantly reduce the rate of infection after eyelid surgery.
The purpose of this study is to evaluate the efficacy of the Spiracur SNaP® Wound Care System for the treatment of acute trauma and acute surgical excision wounds. The secondary purpose will be to compare the prospective patients to retrospectively treated acute trauma wounds to further evaluate efficacy and safety.
