This study will evaluate the effectiveness and safety of an investigational product (IP),
intravenous (IV) ganaxolone, to treat participants with status epilepticus (SE).

Observational studies are often retrospective and are used to assess potential causation in exposure-outcome relationships and therefore influence preventive methods.
