Inclusion criteria - patients scheduled to undergo elective lumbar spinal surgery Exclusion criteria - known or predicted difficult airway - neuromuscular diseases - hepatic or renal dysfunction - diseases or anatomical abnormalities in the neck, larynx, or pharynx - requirement for postoperative mechanical ventilation |
