Filter by:The purpose of this study is to evaluate the safety and effectiveness of an experimental study drug (STA-4783) combined with an approved cancer medicine, paclitaxel, in the treatment of soft tissue sarcomas. Paclitaxel (Taxol®) has been approved and used in the United States since 1992.
The goal of this clinical research study is to learn if treatment with the drug liposomal vincristine can shrink or slow the growth of the patient's cancer. The safety of this drug will also be studied.
Current therapies for Soft Tissue Sarcoma provide very limited benefit to the patient. The anti-cancer properties of Antineoplaston therapy suggest that it may prove beneficial in the treatment of Soft Tissue Sarcoma. PURPOSE: This study is being performed to determine the effects (good and bad) that Antineoplaston therapy has on patients with Soft Tissue Sarcoma.
