NCT ID: NCT04764578 Withdrawn - Sexual Dysfunction Clinical Trials

Sexual Dysfunction Following Upper Extremity Trauma

Start date: March 1, 2022
Phase:
Study type: Observational

Hypothesis 1. The prevalence of sexual dysfunction after upper extremity function in adults (>18yo) is higher than the general population in the early post-operative period (3mo) and at 1 year post-operatively. 2. Null: Adult patients (<18 yo) with isolated upper extremity trauma do not experience sexual dysfunction more than the general population. Primary Study Question a) What is the prevalence of sexual dysfunction after upper extremity trauma (fracture, soft tissue disruption, neurovascular injury, and completion amputation) in adult patients? Secondary Study Questions 1. Are there patient or injury factors that can predict sexual dysfunction? 2. Do certain fractures cause more sexual dysfunction than others? 3. Can we accurately predict which patients may experience sexual dysfunction post-injury?

NCT ID: NCT01835522 Withdrawn - Sexual Dysfunction Clinical Trials

A Survey of Sexual Function in Schizophrenic Patients

Start date: July 2009
Phase: N/A
Study type: Observational

The goal of this study is to survey patients with a diagnosis of schizophrenia to determine if there is a relationship between self-reported sexual function and treatment with antipsychotic medication. Hypotheses: 1. Patients on typical antipsychotics will rate their sexual function as lower than those on atypical agents. 2. Patients on multiple antipsychotics will rate their sexual function as lower than those on a single agent.

NCT ID: NCT01635543 Withdrawn - Crohn's Disease Clinical Trials

Investigation of Sexual Function in Crohn's Disease Patients With Perianal Fistulas

Start date: October 2011
Phase: N/A
Study type: Observational

Objective: The aim of this study is to investigate whether Crohn's Disease patients with peri-anal fistulas will suffer from sexual dysfunction in an attempt to help us identify Crohn's Disease patients that would benefit from sexual health interventions. Hypothesis: Crohn's patients with active perianal fistulas will have decreased sexual drive, performance, and satisfaction than those with Crohn's Disease in remission.
