Invention of Portable Laser Acupuncture and Joint Mobilization Device on Frozen Shoulder and Therapeutic Effects
the volunteers with frozen shoulder will be recruited to this experiment and use devices under a designed experimental procedure. After subjects use device , R&D team will collect subject feedback, efficacy assessments, and various device data. This step will not only help investigators to improve and refine the device but also find the best operating mode and using standard of the device to help the frozen shoulder patients. Subjects in this study will also enter a designed course of treatment. All patients will be distributed equally and randomly to three groups (control , mobilization device, laser acupuncture plus mobilization device) to receive treatment. All groups receive three therapy sessions per week for 8 consecutive weeks. At last, investigators will compare the differences between the three groups to understand the effect of portable laser acupuncture and joint mobilization device on frozen shoulder.

Effectiveness of Yamamoto's New Skull Acupuncture (YNSA) on Resting State Brain Networks
This study investigates the effects of a new form of acupuncture (Yamamoto's New Skull Acupuncture [YNSA]) on resting-state brain networks. Therefore, two resting-state fMRI scans are measured (one without and one with acupuncture needles) in healthy adults. It is expected that acupuncture is associated with changes in functional connectivity within different brain networks.

Positive Effects of Laser Acupuncture in Methamphetamine Users Undergoing Group Cognitive Behavioral Therapy: A Pilot Study
Methamphetamine (MA) addiction has become a crucial public health issue due to its adverse effects. Acupuncture has been used for drug detoxification for many years. However, some disadvantages are not be suitable for MA users. The advantages of laser acupuncture includes safety, painless, less time consuming and higher acceptability without current investigation. Therefore, investigators arrange this study to evaluate the efficacy of laser acupuncture combined with golden treatment of cognitive group therapy.

A Randomized Controlled Trial of Acupuncture in Treating Migraine Without Aura by the Method of Regulating Ying and Wei
Migraine without aura is a common kind of nervous system diseases that can easily cause recurrent headache, leading to severe impacts on quality of life and health care costs. Current therapeutic options for migraine without aura mainly include flunarizine hydrochloride that can relieve vasospasm. Nevertheless, the efficacy of flunarizine hydrochloride is always limited by inevitable side effects, which result in poor compliance of patients. Moreover, for some most suffering patients, the control of pain is often unsatisfactory despite of the administration of complex treatment combinations. As a non-pharmaceutical therapy, acupuncture is widely used for a wide range of pain conditions. Thus, it might be an alternative treatment for migraine without aura. The aim of this randomized controlled trial is to investigate the efficacy and safety of acupuncture therapy in patients with migraine without aura from the perspective of Regulating Ying and Wei.

The Effects of Acupuncture Against Postoperative Nausea and Vomit After Laparoscopic Cholecystectomy: A Randomized Controlled Trial
Postoperative nausea and vomiting (PONV), represents a common condition after surgery and anesthesia. Acupuncture has been used for centuries for analgesia and quality of life improvement in addition to low cost. This study is a random control trial concerning the antiemetic efficacy of acupuncture associated with intravenous antiemetics in laparoscopic cholecystectomy, in comparison to patients under only antiemetic administration. One hundred patients were enrolled, regardless of their sex, age, and comorbidity and were randomly allocated in one of two groups. Both anesthesia and antiemetic medication were personalized according to each patient's medical history. In the study group, after anesthesia induction and before pneumoperitoneum application, a sterile stainless steel 0,25 x 25mm acupuncture needle was inserted bilaterally at the PC6 for 20 minutes, rotated manually clockwise and then anticlockwise every 5 minutes and then removed. Fisher's exact test was chosen for statistic evaluation. There were 8 PONV cases in the study group against 18 cases in the control group. Fisher's exact test highlighted a p-value of P=0,03, marking the difference between the two groups as statistically significant. Concluding, acupuncture presents a remarkable action against PONV after Laparoscopic Cholecystectomy (LPC). Another remarkable trait of acupuncture is the safety that it offers during application without provoking severe adverse effects. Furthermore, reduced medical costs thanks to decreased postoperative use of antiemetic medication, decreased patients' hospitalization, and reduced re-hospitalization possibility have to be noted. Finally, it has to be mentioned that despite LPC is in general terms painless, the analgesic effects of acupuncture should not be disregarded
