A Phase 2b/3 Study of TPX-115 on Partial-thickness Rotator Cuff Tear

Rotator cuff tear is one of the most common shoulder diseases and conservative treatment is commonly used for tears involving ≤50% of tendon thickness. Since conventional conservative treatments are not fundamental to repair tendon tissue, there is a growing need of new therapy to improve structural outcome. This study assesses the safety and efficacy of allogeneic fibroblasts on partial-thickness rotator cuff tear. The primary outcome is change in Constant Score (CS) at 24 weeks after TPX-115 injection. Secondary outcomes include changes from baseline in CS, Visual Analogue Score (VAS) pain score, American Shoulder and Elbow Surgeons (ASES) score, Quick Disabilities of the Arm, Shoulder and Hand (Quick-DASH), Simple Shoulder Test (SST), and functional evaluations including Range of Motion (ROM) at 4, 12, 24 and 52 weeks after administration and structural evaluation using MRI at 24 and 52 weeks after injection.

Combination of Vitamin C and N-Acetylcysteine to Improve Functional Outcome After Rotator Cuff Repair

The goal of this clinical trial is to learn if vitamin C and N-acetylcysteine work to improve shoulder functional score after rotator cuff repair. It will also learn about the safety of vitamin C and N-acetylcysteine. The main questions it aims to answer are: Do vitamin C and N-acetylcysteine improve the shoulder functional score of participants? Do vitamin C and N-acetylcysteine improve healing of rotator tendon? Researchers will compare vitamin C and N-acetylcysteine to a placebo (a look-alike substance that contains no drug) to see if vitamin C and N-acetylcysteine works to improve shoulder functional score after rotator cuff repair. Participants will: Take vitamin C and N-acetylcysteine or a placebo every day for 45 days. Visit the OPD three times at 2 week, 6 month and 12 month after surgery for checkups and tests.

Subacromial Impingement Syndrome Functional Tests Correlation With Ultrasound Parameters

In this study, among the patients who applied to the Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation outpatient clinic of Muğla Training and Research Hospital and were diagnosed with subacromial impingement by anamnesis and clinical tests, inclusion criteria) and exclusion criteria will be included in the study. Demographic data of the patients will then be recorded. DASH (Disabilities of the Arm, Shoulder and Hand) and Constant Murley scores will be calculated. 4 years of musculoskeletal ultrasound experience will be recorded by a radiologist using ultrasound (Siemens® V8, LA2-14A probe) in modified Crass position (positioning with the palm of the examined side on the posterior iliac wing) by measuring subacromial bursa thickness, supraspinatus tendon thickness, acromiohumeral distance, supraspinatus tendon thickness/acromiohumeral distance ratio. Demographic data of the patients will then be recorded. DASH (Disabilities of the Arm, Shoulder and Hand) and Constant Murley scores will be calculated.

The goal of the study is to learn if Epidiolex (cannabidiol) works as a additional pain medication in patients who have had orthopedic shoulder surgery. It is also to learn about safe dosages and identify any side effects after surgery. Researchers will compare Epidiolex to a placebo solution to see if Epidiolex lowers pain after shoulder surgery. Participants will: - track their pain and what medications they use every day in a provided pain diary. A researchers will call every seven days to check on the participant and diary. - Complete two short surveys. Once before surgery and once after. - Have bloodwork tested after surgery
