A Study of Oral Upadacitinib Tablets to Assess Treatment Patterns, Achievement of Treatment Targets and Maintenance of Response in Adult Participants With Moderate to Severe Rheumatoid Arthritis

Rheumatoid Arthritis (RA) is an inflammatory disease of the joints causing pain, stiffness, swelling and loss of joint function. Despite the range of treatment options for RA steadily increasing, many patients remain sub-optimally managed, with sustained clinical remission rarely achieved. This study will assess the treatment patterns, achievement of treatment targets and maintenance of response. Upadacitinib is a drug approved for the treatment of moderately to severely active rheumatoid arthritis. Adult participants with moderate to severe RA who have been prescribed upadacitinib by their physicians will be enrolled. Approximately, 1660 participants will be enrolled this study, worldwide. Participants will not receive Upadacitinib as part of this study, but will be followed for response to treatment for up to 24 months. There may be higher burden for participants in this trial compared to their standard of care. Participants will attend regular visits, every 3 months, during the course of the study at a hospital or clinic and will be asked to provide additional information by questionnaire at each visit.

Study To Assess Frequency Of Serious Infections In Clinical Practice In Japan For Adult Participants With Rheumatoid Arthritis Receiving Oral RINVOQ Tablets

Rheumatoid Arthritis (RA) is a chronic inflammatory disease causing pain, stiffness, swelling and loss of joint function. RA can reduce the ability to perform everyday tasks. The purpose of this study is to observe the incidence of serious infections, regardless of their relationship to RINVOQ, in Japanese daily practice. RINVOQ is an approved drug for the treatment of adults with moderately to severely active RA. This study evaluates medical records from institutions participating in the study to identify any adverse events (untoward medical occurrence), and reasons for discontinuation of RINVOQ in participants taking the study drug. A target of 1000 Japanese participants' data will be observed for 3 years. Participants will receive RINVOQ per their physicians' usual prescription. Individual data will be collected for three years. No additional study-related tests will be conducted during routine clinic visits. Only data which are routinely collected during clinic visits will be utilized for this study.

An Observational Study to Evaluate Impact of CRP-Level on Real World Effectiveness of Upadacitinib as Monotherapy or in Combination With MTX in Adult Participants With Rheumatoid Arthritis

Rheumatoid Arthritis (RA) is a chronic inflammatory disease causing pain, stiffness, swelling and loss of joint function. RA can reduce the ability to perform everyday tasks. This study assesses whether C-reactive protein (CRP)-level has an impact on achieving remission with upadacitinib when used alone or in combination with methotrexate (MTX). This study will also assess the reduction in pain, morning stiffness, fatigue, functionality, health status and impact of RA. CRP is an indicator of inflammation and often used for disease activity monitoring during RA treatment. Upadacitinib is a Janus kinase (JAK) inhibitor indicated for the treatment of adults with moderately to severely active RA who have had an inadequate response or intolerance to methotrexate. This study has two groups - upadacitinib monotherapy and combination. Adult participants with moderate to severe RA will be enrolled. Around 500 participants will be enrolled in the study in multiple sites within Germany. Participants will receive upadacitinib alone or in combination with MTX per their physicians' usual prescription. Individual data will be collected for 12 months. No additional study-related tests will be conducted during the routine physician visits. Only data which are routinely collected during a regular visit will be utilized for this study.
