Medication Adherence in Psoriatic Arthritis

Start date: February 18, 2022
Phase:
Study type: Observational

Psoriatic arthritis (PsA) is a chronic multisystemic disease requiring ordinary doctor visits and an adherence to medication. Evaluating the parameters affecting the medication adherence is essential for the efficacy of the treatment. To our knowledge no study has ever evaluated the factors affecting the medication adherence in patients with PsA so far.

NCT ID: NCT05223049 Completed - Psoriatic Arthritis Clinical Trials

Phase:
Study type: Observational

This is a multicenter, centrally registered observational study without a control group. This observational study is a specified drug use-results survey conducted under GPSP to collect information on safety and efficacy during the observation period (52 weeks after the start of treatment with this drug) in pediatric patients with psoriasis vulgaris, psoriatic arthritis, or pustular psoriasis who received this drug.

A Study to Learn About the Study Medicine (Called Tofacitinib) in People With Psoriatic Arthritis

Start date: January 3, 2022
Phase:
Study type: Observational

The purpose of this study is to learn about the safety and effects of the study medicine for the potential treatment of Psoriatic Arthritis (PsA). Psoriatic Arthritis is a joint swelling disease that can also affect the skin, nails and eyes. The study medicine is called Tofacitinib. This study is seeking participants who: - Started taking tofacitinib alone or with other approved medicines (eg. methotrexate, leflunomide, sulfasalazine, apremilast) for PsA disease. We will only look at participants' who started tofacitinib after December 14, 2017. - Have a 6-month follow-up visit (with a 3-month window) This is an observational study. Participants receiving Tofacitinib will be included to assess how well tofacitinib works. We will look at participants' demographic information and therapy history. We will also monitor participants' disease progression before and 6 months after treatment. We will examine the experiences of people receiving the study medicine. This will help us determine if the study medicine is safe and effective.

bIosimilar of aDalimumab, an European evAluation

IDEA
Start date: April 30, 2022
Phase:
Study type: Observational

The study objective is aimed to describe all country, site, investigator and patient variables that lead to treatment persistence for at least 12 months among patients with rheumatologic and intestinal chronic inflammatory diseases who were switched to FK adalimumab, in order to develop a model to predict persistence at 12 months.

NCT ID: NCT05171270 Recruiting - Psoriatic Arthritis Clinical Trials

AsseSSing Impact in pSoriatic Treatment

ASSIST
Start date: July 12, 2021
Phase:
Study type: Observational

Psoriatic arthritis (PsA) is a form of inflammatory arthritis associated with the skin condition psoriasis. A variety of different treatments are used to try to control arthritis and skin psoriasis and management often involves trial and error to find the right medication for the right person. Very little is known about the decisions made to increase treatment in individual patients. Previous research in rheumatoid arthritis found that clinical measures of disease activity, patient reported outcomes and characteristics of the treating doctor all influenced the decision to change therapy in routine practice. This investigators particularly want to establish whether routine use of the psoriatic arthritis impact of disease (PsAID-12) questionnaire in the clinic setting can enable a better understanding of the impact of PsA on each individual, improve physician-patient communication and lead to appropriate interventions. The PsAID-12 questionnaire is a relatively new European developed questionnaire measuring patient impact across 12 different domains in PsA. This study will use routine implementation of the PsAID-12 questionnaire and see if this is related to treatment decisions and patient satisfaction. The investigators will also examine other factors that may influence treatment decisions including patient characteristics, physician characteristics, disease activity and quality of patient-physician interactions.
