Filter by:This Phase II trial will evaluate progression-free survival after Stereotactic Body Radiation Therapy to oligoprogressive (1-5) lesions in metastatic renal cell carcinoma patients on any immune checkpoint inhibitor-containing regimen with last dose of systemic therapy within 3 months prior to trial enrollment.
A prospective, two-center, single arm phase II clinical study to evaluate safety and effectiveness of ablation therapy in the treatment of lung cancer presenting as ground-glass nodules
In a present study vaginal examination of the fetal head station is compared with transperineal ultrasonography evaluation of fetal head station and the ability of ultrasonography evaluation in predicting the time and mode of delivery will be investigated.
The study aims is to find out if people with type 1 diabetes diagnosed in later life (after age 30) have the same rapid loss of insulin secretion (measured using C-peptide) that occurs in younger adults with type 1 diabetes. The investigators will recruit 135 participants aged over 30 years with a clinical diagnosis of type 1 diabetes and diabetes duration ≤100 days. The investigators will also recruit a comparison group of 61 participants aged 18-30 with a clinical diagnosis of type 1 diabetes and diabetes duration ≤100 days. C-peptide will be measured during mixed meal tolerance tests (MMTT) performed at baseline, 6 months and a year. This study also aims to test a new more practical way of monitoring insulin secretion at home using a finger prick 'blood spot' rather than time consuming tests in a hospital. Finger-prick C-peptide samples will be collected after the MMTT and by the participants at home throughout the year.
A multiple-center study on the effect of different ways of lymph node dissection on the prognosis of less than 3cm ground glass nodules with more than solid components
Examine the association of chronic liver diseases (including hepatitis B, hepatitis C, alcoholic liver disease, fatty liver, liver cirrhosis, and hepatocellular carcinoma) with other systemic diseases by retrospectively analyzing the data from the Hospital Database of Buddhist Tzu Chi Medical Foundation.
Brief Summary: Purpose of this study is to evaluate efficacy of hydroxychloroquine (HCQ) in reducing progression of Corona Virus Disease 2019 (COVID - 19) and achieving viral clearance. Condition or disease :I COVID-19 ntervention/treatment :Drug: Hydroxychloroquine Sulfate Phase: Phase III
A population based incidence cohort will enroll patients newly diagnosed with cirrhosis to investigate disease characteristics and outcomes, explore mechanisms predicting early death and hospital admission, and assess new monitoring tools in treatment and prevention of cirrhosis.
PubMed, ScienceDirect, Cochrane Database of Systematic Reviews will be used to search for articles published from January 1965 to July 2019 using the key words "renal cancer", "lymphocyte to monocyte ratio" and "prognosis". No restrictions to date, language, or article type will be applied. Cohort or observational studies in patients with non-metastatic renal cell carcinoma histopathologically confirmed, with hazard ratios (HR) and corresponding 95% confidence intervals (CI) that assessed association between LMR and overall survival (OS), cancer-specific survival (CSS), recurrence-free survival (RFS), and disease-free survival (DFS) will be analyzed.
Results of previous study showed high objective response but short-term activity of anti-angiogenesis tyrosine kinase inhibitors in advanced osteosarcoma. Given the recent success of immunotherapies, combinations of antiangiogenics with immune checkpoint blockers have become an attractive strategy. The investigators had completed an prospective phase 2 trial of the combination of apatinib and camrelizumab on advanced osteosarcoma and showed prolonged progression-free survival for this combination. Famitinib is a novel tyrosine kinase inhibitor targeting VEGFR-2, -3 and FGFR-1, -2, -3, -4 with high affinity, which showed broad antitumor activity against a variety of xenograft models. A Study to Compare the Efficacy and Safety of Levatinib with or without Ifosfamide and Etoposide in Children, Adolescents and Young Adults With Relapsed and Refractory Osteosarcoma showed promising median PFS of 11.3 months. Thus we also try to investigate the combination efficacy of TKIs with chemotherapy in advanced osteosarcoma. This study aims to investigate the recommended phase 2 dose for pediatric use of famitinib in combination with camrelizumab and trys to explore the efficacy and safety for single drug famitinib, famitinib and camrelizumab and famitinib and ifosfamide in patients with inoperable high-grade osteosarcoma progressing after chemotherapy.
