Start date: December 9, 2022
Phase: Phase 1/Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

This is an open-label, First-in-Human, Phase 1/2, multicenter study to evaluate the safety and efficacy of a single dose of AVB-001. NCT ID: NCT05261490 Terminated - Ovarian Cancer Clinical Trials

Study of Maplirpacept (PF-07901801) in Combination With PLD in Patients With Platinum-Resistant Ovarian Cancer

Start date: August 1, 2022
Phase: Phase 1/Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

Pegylated liposomal doxorubicin (PLD), a type of chemotherapy, is a standard treatment option for patients with platinum-resistant ovarian cancer. However, despite being consider a standard treatment option, the clinical benefit of chemotherapy alone for these patients is small. Historically, response rates for PLD monotherapy have only ranged from 12 to 35% with a high likelihood of recurrence within months after treatment initiation. Although bevacizumab (BEV), an anti-new-vascular growth monoclonal antibody has been approved by FDA to combine with standard chemotherapy (e.g., PLD) for platinum-resistant recurrent ovarian cancer, there are still many restrictions or contraindications preventing certain women from receiving bevacizumab's combination treatment. The goal of this study is to improve upon the activity of PLD in a safe manner to provide a more effective therapeutic option for this group of patients. The purpose of this study is to assess maplirpacept (PF-07901801) administered in combination with PLD in patients with platinum-resistant ovarian cancer and for whom PLD is a reasonable treatment option. The first portion of the study will evaluate the safety of increasing dose levels of maplirpacept (PF-07901801) in combination with PLD at 40 mg/m2 in patients with platinum-resistant EOC (epithelial ovarian cancer). This is a group of cancer, including ovarian, peritoneal, and fallopian tube malignancy. The aim of the first portion of the study is to establish a combination regimen for further assessment in a dose expansion cohort. The study will consist of a 28-day screening period to ensure participants are qualified for the study treatment plan. During the treatment period, patients will receive maplirpacept (PF-07901801) in combination with PLD in 28-day cycles until their disease progresses or unacceptable toxicity develops. There will be a long-term follow-up period in this study to assess overall survival (length of time since start of treatment patients are alive).

NCT ID: NCT04814875 Terminated - Ovarian Cancer Clinical Trials

A Study to Evaluate the Combination of ATX-101 and Platinum-based Chemotherapy

Start date: September 1, 2021
Phase: Phase 1/Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

This is a Phase 1b/2a multicenter study, which consists of two parts: Part 1: the Phase 1b part of the study will investigate the safety of the combination of ATX-101 with carboplatin/pegylated liposomal doxorubicin (ACD). ATX-101 will be administered intravenously in three escalation cohorts: 20, 30, and 45 mg/m² according to a 3+3 design. In the case where 20 mg/m² is not tolerated, the dose can be de-escalated to 15 mg/m². Part 2: the Phase 2a part of the study will investigate the efficacy and safety of ACD. ATX-101 will be administered at the dose defined in Part 1 of the study. Treatment will continue up to six cycles or until disease progression or unacceptable toxicity, participant withdrawal of consent, non-compliance, lost to follow-up, or withdrawal at the Investigators discretion, whichever occurs first.

NCT ID: NCT03824704 Terminated - Clinical trials for Fallopian Tube Cancer

A Study to Evaluate Rucaparib in Combination With Nivolumab in Patients With Selected Solid Tumors (ARIES)

Start date: August 23, 2019
Phase: Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

This is an open label Phase 2, 2-stage, 2-cohort study to evaluate rucaparib in combination with nivolumab in patients with high-grade serous or endometroid ovarian cancer. Patients entering the following cohorts must have BRCA mutational status confirmed by a central lab: - Cohort A1: No BRCA mutation in tumor; high level of LOH (loss of heterozygosity) - Cohort A2: BRCA mutation in tumor

NCT ID: NCT03608618 Terminated - Clinical trials for Primary Peritoneal Carcinoma

Intraperitoneal MCY-M11 (Mesothelin-targeting CAR) for Treatment of Advanced Ovarian Cancer and Peritoneal Mesothelioma

Start date: August 27, 2018
Phase: Phase 1
Study type: Interventional

This is a phase 1 dose escalation study to characterize the feasibility, safety and tolerability of MCY-M11 when administered as an intraperitoneal (IP) infusion for 3 weekly doses for women with platinum resistant high grade serous adenocarcinoma of the ovary, primary peritoneum, or fallopian tube, and subjects with peritoneal mesothelioma with recurrence after prior chemotherapy. The study will also assess multiple cycles of treatment and adding preconditioning with cyclophosphamide.

NCT ID: NCT03585764 Terminated - Ovarian Cancer Clinical Trials

Start date: October 24, 2018
Phase: Phase 1
Study type: Interventional

Phase I study to establish safety and feasibility of intraperitoneally administered lentiviral transduced MOv19-BBz CAR T cells with or without cyclophosphamide + fludarabine as lymphodepleting chemotherapy

NCT ID: NCT03312114 Terminated - Clinical trials for Fallopian Tube Cancer

Anti-PD-L1 and SAbR for Ovarian Cancer

Start date: November 9, 2017
Phase: Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

Programmed death-1 receptor ligand (PD-L1) the ligand for PD-1 is a key therapeutic target in the reactivation of the immune response against multiple cancers. Pharmacologic inhibitors of PD-1 have also demonstrated significant anti-tumor activity and are currently under active clinical exploration. avelumab (MSB0010718C; anti-PD-L1 is a fully human anti-PD-L1 igG1 antibody that has shown promising efficacy and an acceptable safety profile in multiple tumor types. Radiation therapy (RT) is one of the mainstream treatments of cancer therapy along with surgery and chemotherapy, yet RT is the only treatment that does not leave the patients immunocompromised (unlike chemotherapy) and keeps the dying tumor / antigen depot within the host (unlike surgery), providing an opportunity for antigen presentation. Therefore, RT is a rational choice to combine with immunotherapy for cancer treatment.

NCT ID: NCT02661815 Terminated - Ovarian Cancer Clinical Trials

NCT ID: NCT01972516 Terminated - Ovarian Cancer Clinical Trials

Tivozanib As Maintenance Therapy In GYN

Start date: November 2013
Phase: Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

This research study is evaluating a drug called tivozanib as a possible treatment for ovarian, fallopian tube or primary peritoneal cancer. Angiogenesis is the formation of new blood vessels. Tumors need blood vessels to grow and spread. Tivozanib is an anti-angiogenesis medicine that fights cancer by cutting off a tumor's blood supply so that it does not get the blood and nutrients it needs to grow. In this research study, the Investigators are looking to see whether tivozanib works as a maintenance therapy for ovarian, fallopian tube or primary peritoneal carcinoma in participants who have achieved a complete response following chemotherapy. Maintenance therapy is given after a disease has responded to previous treatment. It is given to help prevent the spread or recurrence of the tumor.
