Filter by:Self-tonometry with iCare Home is regularly performed at Sankt Erik's Eye Hospital since a few years back. The purpose of this study was to show that the eye pressure measurements made with iCare® Home by patients / relatives do not vary more than those made with the standard method, Goldman applanation tonometry (GAT), by different healthcare professionals. This will hopefully confirm the usefulness of self-tonometry.
The purpose of this study is to evaluate the safety (in the eye and throughout the body) and effectiveness of nebivolol (0.5 and 1 percent) and timolol (0.5 percent) eye drop suspensions. These eye drops will be compared to timolol 0.5 percent eye drop solution in participants with open angle glaucoma (the most common type of glaucoma) or high eye pressure (ocular hypertension).
