NCT ID: NCT05554458 Completed - Mental Health Issue Clinical Trials

Implementation and Evaluation of the ChildTaks+ Intervention in the Czech Republic

ChildTaks+
Start date: October 15, 2021
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

Aims of the study. The aim of this study is to evaluate the effectiveness of the ChildTalks+ intervention and to implement it in education and practice. By delivering the ChildTalks+ intervention, i.e. educating parents about the transgenerational transmission of the disorder, informing them about the impact on their children, strengthening their parenting competencies, supporting communication within the family and informing COPMI about their parents' mental disorder, listening to their needs and providing emotional and social support to the family, the investigators expect the following outcomes: improved family communication, including children's awareness of their parents' mental health problems, improved overall well-being of COPMI, heightened perceptions of parental competence, increased family protective factors, including strengthened social support, sustained over time. Part of the intervention consists of early identification of social-emotional problems in children and referral for further professional help. The research questions the investigators will focus on are: - What are the effects of the ChildTalks+ intervention in families where parents have a mental health disorder? - Is the ChildTalks+ intervention feasible for therapists who treat patients with mental disorder? - Is the ChildTalks+ intervention feasible in families where one parent has an eating disorder? - Should the ChildTalks+ intervention be modified for this group of families where parent has an eating disorders?

NCT ID: NCT05545527 Active, not recruiting - Child Development Clinical Trials

Neuroimaging Ancillary Study

Start date: February 21, 2023
Phase:
Study type: Observational

As a follow-up to the RAPIDIRON Trial (NCT05358509), and in combination with the RAPIDIRON-KIDS Study (NCT05504863), this study will involve infants of RAPIDIRON Trial participants recruited at one site in Karnataka and is designed to implement a magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) protocol and incorporate neuroimaging measures. Implementation of this study will promote an understanding of the effects on fetal and neonatal brain development, including iron deposition in brain tissues, when a woman is treated for iron deficiency anemia (IDA) by either (a) providing her oral iron tablets and instructions for use; or (b) administering a single-dose IV iron infusion for the treatment of IDA during pregnancy.

NCT ID: NCT05527080 Recruiting - Child Development Clinical Trials

Development of Motility and Cognition in Infants

PILKE
Start date: October 1, 2021
Phase:
Study type: Observational

PILKE study uses wearables for assessing motor development in infants in order to define functional growth trajectories in the normal infants and infants at risk of neurological compromise. In addition, PILKE studies correlation of early motor development to later neurocognitive development.

NCT ID: NCT05525962 Recruiting - Child Development Clinical Trials

Vulnerability/Resilience Factors Influencing the Developmental Trajectories and Adaptive Methods of Children and Adolescents in Child Welfare System.

EvolASE-PEA
Start date: September 29, 2022
Phase:
Study type: Observational

Assess the prevalence of medico-psychological characteristics at the time of placement (M0), their appearance / disappearance and during the two years following placement (M12 and M24) by age group in children / adolescents in Child Protective Services and placed full-time in the structures of Seine-Maritime and Eure as well as in nursery in Le Havre or Rouen

NCT ID: NCT05512637 Not yet recruiting - Clinical trials for Autism Spectrum Disorder

Screening for Neurodevelopmental Disorders in Siblings of Children With Autism Diagnosed in Tertiary Centers

FRATSA
Start date: November 2022
Phase:
Study type: Observational [Patient Registry]

In this study, a selective and multi-stages screening for neurodevelopmental disorders (NDD) in siblings of children with a confirmed ASD is done. The main aims are to estimate the prevalence of NDD among siblings and to evaluate the feasibility and acceptability of a standardized screening procedure.

NCT ID: NCT05490173 Not yet recruiting - Premature Birth Clinical Trials

The Pilot Experimental Study of the Neuroprotective Effects of Exosomes in Extremely Low Birth Weight Infants

Start date: October 5, 2022
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

To study the safety and efficacy of intranasal administration of exosomes derived from mesenchymal stromal cells on long-term neurodevelopmental outcome in extremely low birth weight infants born at gestational age 25/0-27/6 weeks.

NCT ID: NCT05467527 Recruiting - Clinical trials for Autism Spectrum Disorder

PACT Programme for Parents of Children With SHCN

Start date: June 27, 2022
Phase: N/A

Rett Syndrome Registry

RSR
Start date: August 2, 2022
Phase:
Study type: Observational [Patient Registry]

The Rett Syndrome Registry is a longitudinal observational study of individuals with MECP2 mutations and a diagnosis of Rett syndrome. Designed together with the IRSF Rett Syndrome Center of Excellence Network medical directors, this study collects data on the signs and symptoms of Rett syndrome as reported by the Rett syndrome experts and by the caregivers of individuals with Rett syndrome. This study will be used to develop consensus based guidelines for the care of your loved ones with Rett syndrome and to facilitate the development of better clinical trials and other aspects of the drug development path for Rett syndrome.

NCT ID: NCT05430256 Recruiting - Premature Infant Clinical Trials

The Early Life Clinical Feature and Risk Factors Analysis in Children With Neurodevelopmental Disorders

Start date: April 29, 2019
Phase:
Study type: Observational

The study will be a 5-year retrospective and prospective case control study, included 650 participants, and participants will be divided into four groups.By this research the investigators will achieve several aims:(1) Through the cross-sectional analysis of this study, the investigators can understand the current prevalence of developmental disorders in Taiwan ,especially ADHD and ASD, and the ratio of male to female in school-age children. (2) Analysis of risk factors in preterm infants during pregnancy and infant, and construct the diagnostic predictive models. (3) By the cohort study of premature infants, to analyze early risk factors of premature children with neurological developmental disorders (such as ADHD), and develop the diagnostic predictive models and early interventional tools. (4) Using artificial intelligence and machine learning analysis to analyze the characteristics of preterm and development of diagnostic prediction model of premature infant or premature children combined ADHD. (5) The application of noninvasive physiological signal capture real-time analysis system in screening and evaluation of "premature infant and neurodevelopmental disorders".
