Filter by:This study is designed to investigate the efficacy and safety of capecitabine, as a postoperative adjuvant chemotherapy, for HER-2 positive breast cancer patients who have pathologic residual cancer cells after the preoperative chemotherapy.
Acute lymphoblastic leukemia , also known as acute lymphocytic leukemia, characterized by the overproduction and accumulation of cancerous, immature white blood cells, known as lymphoblasts, causing damage and death by inhibiting the production of normal cells (such as red and white blood cells and platelets) in the bone marrow and by spreading (infiltrating) to other organs. Acute lymphoblastic leukemia is most common in childhood, with a peak incidence at 2-5 years of age and another peak in old age.
The primary goal of this study by The Polish Adult Leukemia Group (PALG) is to verify if individual therapeutic approach taking into account biological and phenotypic differences as well as response at the level of minimal residual disease is associated with improved outcome of adults with precursor lymphoid neoplasms
