NCT ID: NCT06442709 Active, not recruiting - Clinical trials for Nasopharyngeal Carcinoma

Combined Anti-IL6R and Anticoagulation Therapy in Advanced NPC Patients

Start date: August 1, 2021
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

The investigators have demonstrated the crucial role of the liver-lung axis in the distant metastasis of NPC. Furthermore, the investigators have identified a potential therapeutic approach to improve outcomes in NPC patients by identifying those most suitable for anticoagulant therapy. Further, the combination of anticoagulant therapy and anti-IL6R therapy has shown promising results in enhancing the prognosis of NPC patients. These findings highlight the significance of targeting the liver-lung axis and utilizing personalized treatment strategies for NPC.

Start date: May 19, 2022
Phase: Phase 2/Phase 3
Study type: Interventional

This is a randomized, open, multicenter phase II/III trial to compare the efficacy and safety of QL1706 and carrilizumab combined with gemcitabine and cisplatin in first-line treatment of recurrent or metastatic nasopharyngeal carcinoma.

NCT ID: NCT05520814 Active, not recruiting - Clinical trials for Nasopharyngeal Carcinoma

PD-1 Inhibitors Plus Chemoradiotherapy for Metastatic Nasopharyngeal Carcinoma: an Open-label Single-arm, Phase II Trial

Start date: August 1, 2018
Phase: Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

programmed cell death-1 (PD-1) inhibitors has been recommended as the first-line treatment for recurrent/metastatic nasopharyngeal carcinoma (R/M NPC), but progression-free survival (PFS) and overall survival (OS) was still unsatisfactory. Basic studies have already confirmed PD-1 inhibitors had concurrent synergistic effect with chemotherapy and radiotherapy. Few studies concerned about the treatment pattern for concurrent PD-1 inhibitors combination with chemoradiation for R/M NPC. There was still much uncertainties about the timing, fraction dose and total dose for PD-1 inhibitors combination with radiation. Therefore, we aimed to explore the substantial effect and toxicity of this new pattern for R/M NPC.

NCT ID: NCT05513573 Active, not recruiting - Clinical trials for Nasopharyngeal Carcinoma by AJCC V8 Stage

Phase II Clinical Study to Compare the Efficacy and Safety of HLX07 + Serplulimab +Chemotherapy Versus Placebo + Serplulimab + Chemotherapy in First-Line Treatment of Patients With Recurrent or Metastatic NPC

Start date: December 14, 2022
Phase: Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

A Randomized, Double-Blind, Multi-Center Phase II Clinical Study to Compare the Efficacy and Safety of HLX07 (Recombinant Anti-EGFR Humanized Monoclonal Antibody Injection) + Serplulimab (HLX10, Recombinant Anti-PD-1 Humanized Monoclonal Antibody) +Chemotherapy Versus Placebo + Serplulimab + Chemotherapy in First-Line Treatment of Patients with Recurrent or Metastatic Nasopharyngeal Carcinoma (NPC)

NCT ID: NCT05294172 Active, not recruiting - Clinical trials for Nasopharyngeal Carcinoma

KL-A167 Injection Combined With Cisplatin and Gemcitabine vs Placebo Combined With Cisplatin and Gemcitabine in the Treatment of Recurrent or Metastatic Nasopharyngeal Carcinoma

Start date: June 16, 2022
Phase: Phase 3
Study type: Interventional

The study is to evaluate the efficacy of KL-A167 combined with cisplatin and gemcitabine vs placebo combined with cisplatin and gemcitabine in the treatment of recurrent or metastatic nasopharyngeal carcinoma, as measured by progression-free survival (PFS) per the Response Evaluation Criteria in Solid Tumors RECIST Version 1.1

NCT ID: NCT05211232 Active, not recruiting - Clinical trials for Nasopharyngeal Carcinoma

Neoadjuvant and Adjuvant Tislelizumab for Nasopharyngeal Carcinoma

Start date: June 10, 2022
Phase: Phase 3
Study type: Interventional

The purpose of this study is to explore the efficacy and safety of a combination of GP chemotherapy and tislelizumab in neoadjuvant therapy combined with tislelizumab in adjuvant therapy of locoregionally advanced nasopharyngeal carcinoma patients.

NCT ID: NCT05112510 Active, not recruiting - Clinical trials for Patients With Nasopharyngeal Carcinoma

Prognostic Prediction of NPC Based on MR Diffusion-weighted Imaging

Start date: June 1, 2021
Phase:
Study type: Observational

The purpose of this study is to explore whether the imaging model based on RESOLVE-DWI sequence can exploiting the heterogeneity of nasopharyngeal carcinoma and indicate the prognosis, so as to provide intervention information for clinical decision-making. All patients were randomly divided into the training group and the validation group. Radiomics features extracted from T2-weighted, DWI, apparent diffusion coefficient (ADC), and contrast- enhanced T1-weighted were used to build a radiomics model. Patients'clinical variables were also obtained to build a clinical model. Model of training cohort was established using cross-validation for nasopharyngeal carcinoma prognosis by machine learning, including Logistics Regression, SVM, KNN, Decision Tree, Random Forest, XGBoost, and then, the model will be verified in the validation cohort. Area under the curve (AUC) of the Machine learning model was used as the main evaluation metric.
