Filter by:This phase II trial studies the side effects and best dose of nivolumab and azacitidine with or without ipilimumab when given together and to see how well they work in treating patients with acute myeloid leukemia that has not responded to previous treatment or has returned after a period of improvement or is newly diagnosed. Monoclonal antibodies, such as nivolumab and ipilimumab, may interfere with the ability of cancer cells to grow and spread. Drugs used in chemotherapy, such as azacitidine, work in different ways to stop the growth of cancer cells, either by killing the cells, by stopping them from dividing, or by stopping them from spreading. Giving nivolumab, azacitidine and ipilimumab may kill more cancer cells.
This multi center open label Phase 1b study is designed to evaluate the safety, efficacy, pharmacokinetics (PK), and pharmacodynamics (PD) of glasdegib (PF-04449913) when combined with azacitidine in patients with previously untreated Higher Risk Myelodysplastic Syndrome (MDS), Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML), or Chronic Myelomonocytic Leukemia (CMML). This clinical study includes two components: (a) a safety lead in cohort (LIC) and (b) an expansion phase with an AML cohort and an MDS cohort.
The dose-confirming part of this study, comprising at least 10 patients is designed as a single center, prospective, single arm, open label in patients who have failed or are unresponsive to Azacitidine (AZA) or Decitabine (they may also have additionally failed an Erythropoiesis Stimulating Agent (ESA) followed by a dose expansion part with at least 44 patients; the objective of the whole study being to assess the safety, efficacy, pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics of intravenously infused multiple doses of OPN-305 in low and intermediate-1 risk myelodysplastic syndrome (second and third line Lower risk MDS).
This study is being performed to assess the safety, tolerability, and preliminary clinical effects of BVD-523 given orally, twice daily for 21-day cycles, in patients with Acute Myelogenous Leukemia (AML) or Myelodysplastic Syndrome (MDS).
This registry is a prospective, non-interventional, post authorisation safety study for patients diagnosed with Transfusion Dependent, IPSS low or intermediate-1-Risk Myelodysplastic Syndrome (MDS), associated to a single abnormality of the chromosome 5 [del(5q)]. The purpose of this study is to collect additional data about the safety of an oral drug (lenalidomide, Revlimid®) that may have been prescribed to relieve anemia and decrease the need of blood transfusions. However, also patients affected by the MDS del(5q) who receive other treatments different from lenalidomide can be included in this study, if they agree.
Patients with myelodysplastic syndrome (MDS) have an ineffective hemopoiesis and often suffer from anemia. This can lead to red blood cell transfusion dependency and iron overload. Iron overload can affect the liver and lead to liver fibrosis and worst case cirrhosis. Ferritin is usually used to monitor the iron overload. In this study MDS patients will have a transient elastography performed which measures the liver's stiffness. The purpose is to investigate whether liver stiffness measurements are coherent to ferritin levels.
Targeted immune therapy with gemtuzumab ozogamicin (Mylotarg) in combination with chemotherapy followed by allogeneic stem cell transplantation will be given to patients with high risk acute myelogenous leukemia (AML) or myelodysplastic syndrome (MDS).
This Phase I clinical trial is evaluating chimeric-antigen receptor (CAR) T-cells (CM-CS1 T cells) which recognize NKG2D-ligands on the surface of cancer cells. This study evaluates the safety and feasibility of administering a single intravenous dose of CM-CS1 CAR T-cells to patients with AML, MDS-RAEB and Multiple Myeloma.
The purpose of this study is to find a new way to treat Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML), Myelodysplastic Syndrome (MDS) and Chronic Myelomonocytic Leukemia (CMML). All the drugs are used to treat AML and MDS but are not usually combined together. The investigators are looking at both the safety and Efficacy of each combination.
Study CR-AIR-006 is a part of the ATIR clinical development plan and will provide control data for patients treated with ATIR in clinical studies (e.g. study CR-AIR-007).
