Phase: Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

This is a Phase 2, randomized, open-label, multicenter study to evaluate the safety and efficacy of ficlatuzumab in combination with high-dose cytarabine (HiDAC) and HiDAC alone in subjects with relapsed or refractory acute myeloid leukemia.

NCT ID: NCT04097301 Terminated - Multiple Myeloma Clinical Trials

Study of CAR T-cell Therapy in Acute Myeloid Leukemia and Multiple Myeloma

Start date: August 27, 2019
Phase: Phase 1/Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

The purpose of this first-in-man Phase I-IIa study is to evaluate the safety and antitumor activity of autologous CD44v6 CAR T-cells in patients with acute myeloid leukemia (AML) and multiple myeloma (MM).

NCT ID: NCT04093570 Enrolling by invitation - Clinical trials for Acute Myeloid Leukemia

A Study for Participants Who Participated in Prior Clinical Studies of ASTX727 (Standard Dose), With a Food Effect Substudy at Select Study Centers

Start date: September 30, 2019
Phase: Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

Extension study to provide ongoing long-term treatment with ASTX727 for participants who were benefitting from ASTX727 treatment in a previous Astex-sponsored clinical study of ASTX727 (including, but not limited to ASTX727-01 [NCT02103478], ASTX727-02 [NCT03306264], ASTX727-04 [NCT03813186]), and Food Effect Substudy to obtain survival information and long-term safety information. The purpose of the Food Effect Substudy is to evaluate the pharmacokinetics (PK) and safety of decitabine and cedazuridine when ASTX727 is given under fed (high-calorie/high-fat meal or low-calorie/low-fat meal) versus fasted conditions.

NCT ID: NCT04093505 Terminated - Clinical trials for Acute Myeloid Leukemia

Gemtuzumab Ozogamicin in Induction and Glasdegib in Postremission Therapy in Patients With AML (Acute Myeloid Leukemia)

GnG
Start date: April 1, 2021
Phase: Phase 3
Study type: Interventional

The study is a randomized phase III trial with a 2x2 factorial design with measurable residual disease and event-free survival as primary endpoints, respectively. Patients are upfront randomized for the two induction schedules (Gemtuzumab Ozogamicin (GO)-147 versus GO-1; ratio 1:1) and for Glasdegib or Placebo (double blinded, ratio 1:1) as adjunct to consolidation therapy and as single agent 6 months maintenance therapy. Chemotherapy backbone for induction therapy is standard 7+3 with cytarabine 200mg/m² continuously day 1 to day 7, daunorubicin 60mg/m² days 1, 2 and 3 and for consolidation therapy intermediate dose cytarabine (1g/m², bi-daily, days 1,2,3). The trial is designed to gain evidence of anti-leukemic activity of GO and Glasdegib in older patients with newly diagnosed acute myeloid leukemia.

NCT ID: NCT04090268 Recruiting - Clinical trials for Lymphoma, Non-Hodgkin

Precision Exercise in Children With Malignant Hemopathies

SportTherapy
Start date: April 3, 2017
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

In the early years of life and during adolescence, physical activity is crucial for good development of motor skills. It is even more so for those children and young people who are forced to undergo anti-cancer therapies and therefore undergo long periods of hospitalization (often bedridden) and prolonged periods of physical inactivity. The research project "Sport Therapy" was born with the aim of demonstrating that, through targeted physical activity administered by the sports physician in collaboration with the pediatrician hematologist, it is possible to facilitate the full recovery of these patients, avoiding the high risk of chronic diseases related to a sedentary lifestyle and allowing them to better reintegrate, once healed, in their community of origin (school, sport and social relations). The research project "Sport Therapy" was born within the Maria Letizia Verga Center at the Pediatric Clinic of the University of Milan Bicocca, at the Foundation for the Mother and Her Child, San Gerardo Hospital in Monza. Every year, around 80 children and adolescents with leukemia, lymphoma or blood disorders leading to bone marrow transplantation are treated here.
