Filter by:This is a Phase 1, 2-part, open-label, multicenter, first-in-human (FIH) study to assess the safety, pharmacokinetics (PK), pharmacodynamics (PD), and preliminary clinical activity of TAS1553 administered orally to participants ≥18 years of age with relapsed or refractory (R/R) acute myeloid leukemia (AML) or other myeloid neoplasms where approved therapies have failed or for whom known life-prolonging therapies are not available. The AML population includes de novo AML, secondary AML, and myelodysplastic syndrome (MDS)-transformed into AML. Other myeloid neoplasms include accelerated phase myeloproliferative neoplasms (MPN), and chronic or accelerated phase MPN-unclassifiable (MPN-U) and MDS-MPN. Blast crisis phase of MPNs are considered secondary AML and will be included in the AML cohort. Part 1 is a multicenter, sequential group treatment feasibility study with 1 treatment arm and no masking (dose escalation). Part 2 is a multicenter, two-stage, multiple group, dose confirmation study with 1 treatment arm and no masking (exploratory dose expansion).
WiNK is a Phase I/IIa trial to evaluate the safety and efficacy of oNKord® in 33 adults with acute myeloid leukemia (AML) who are in morphologic complete remission with residual measurable disease and who are currently not proceeding to allogeneic hematopoietic stem cell transplantation.
The purpose of this study is to assess the safety, tolerability and clinical activity of the combination S64315 with azacitidine in patients with acute myeloid leukaemia.
This study proposes a safe dosing regimen IFN-γ that is sufficient to stimulate IFN-γ receptors on malignant blasts in patients who developed relapsed acute myeloid leukemia (AML) or myelodysplastic syndrome (MDS) after alloSCT with no active or history of III-IV acute graft-versus-host disease (GVHD). It is hypothesized that IFN-γ will promote graft-vs-leukemia (GVL) in patients with AML/MDS that has relapsed after alloSCT.
A Randomized, Placebo-Controlled Phase III Study of Induction and Consolidation Chemotherapy With Venetoclax in Adult Patients With Newly Diagnosed Acute Myeloid Leukemia or Myelodysplastic Syndrome With Excess Blasts-2
This is a pilot study to evaluate the usability and feasibility of a patient-centered communication tool (University of Rochester-Geriatric Oncology Assessment for acute myeloid Leukemia or UR-GOAL) among 15 older patients with AML, their caregivers, and oncologists.
The primary purpose of this study is to test the hypothesis that preemptive treatment with sabatolimab, alone or in combination with azacitidine, when administered to participants with AML/secondary AML who are in complete remission with positive measurable residual disease post-allogeneic hematopoietic stem cell transplantation (MRD+ post-aHSCT), can enhance the graft versus leukemia (GvL) response and prevent or delay hematologic relapse without an unacceptable level of treatment-emergent toxicities, including clinically significant acute and/or chronic graft-versus-host disease (GvHD) and immune-related adverse events
Sixty patients with AML from both sexes aged from 35-45 years were selected from hematology department in Nasser Institute Hospital where the study was conducted. Patients were randomly assigned into two groups equal in number. Group (A) underwent aerobic exercises in the form of cycling with 50-60% of maximum heart rate. Group (B) underwent resistive training conducted in the form of a series of exercises using free weights, and dumbles. Sessions were conducted three times /week for eight weeks. Six minutes' walk test (6MWT), 10 repetitions maximum test (10 RM), ventilatory function test, fatigue and quality of life (QOL) scales were used to assess functional capacity in both groups.
This is a Phase I dose-finding study of FT538 as monotherapy in acute myeloid leukemia (AML) and in combination with monoclonal antibodies in multiple myeloma (MM). The study will consist of a dose-escalation stage and an expansion stage where participants will be enrolled into indication-specific cohorts.
Venetoclax is a treatment for chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL) and acute myeloid leukemia (AML). However, the pharmacokinetic data in Chinese population, as well as the change of venetoclax plasma concentration while taking CYP enzyme inducers or inhibitors, remained unknown so far. Therefore, the aim of this study is to investigate the pharmacokinetic characteristics of venetoclax.
