NCT ID: NCT05307939 Recruiting - HPV Clinical Trials

A Study on Using Cell-Free Tumor DNA (ctDNA) Testing to Decide When to StartRoutine Treatment in People With Human Papilloma Virus (HPV)- Associated Oropharynx Cancer (OPC)

Start date: March 24, 2022
Phase: Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

This study will look at whether monitoring HPV ctDNA levels is an effective way to detect cancer relapse risk in people with HPV-OPC. All participants will have recently had surgery to treat their disease, or they will be scheduled to have this surgery. In Arm A the researchers will see whether monitoring participants' HPV ctDNA levels can safely identify patients who do not need radiation therapy (RT) after surgery and whose RT can be delayed until their HPV ctDNA levels become detectable. In Arm B, the researchers will see whether patients who usually need 6-6.5 weeks of CRT can be selected by HPV ctDNA to receive 3 weeks of CRT.

NCT ID: NCT05262010 Recruiting - HPV InfectioN Clinical Trials

A Phase III Clinical Trial of a 11-valent Recombinant Human Papillomavirus Vaccine (Hansenulapolymorpha) in Chinese Women Aged 9-45 Years

Start date: June 4, 2022
Phase: Phase 3
Study type: Interventional

A total of 13500 Chinese women aged 18-45 years old were divided into three age groups: 18-26 years old, 27-35 years old, and 35-45 years old. The experimental group and the placebo group were randomly assigned in a ratio of 1:1. All subjects enrolled in the upper arm deltoid muscle were injected with 3 doses of test vaccine or placebo according to the 0, 2, and 6 months immunization program.

NCT ID: NCT05247853 Recruiting - Cervical Cancer Clinical Trials

HPV Vaccine Effectiveness Study in Rwandan Women Living With HIV

Start date: November 3, 2021
Phase:
Study type: Observational

Our study will assess and measure population effectiveness of prophylactic HPV vaccine in reducing cervical, anal, and/or oral prevalent and 6-month persistent infections among HPV-vaccinated and 757 HPV-unvaccinated Rwandan WLWH aged 18-26 years. Additional objectives include the quantification & examination of long-term antibody (into young adulthood) responses to HPV vaccination and to validate the performance (e.g., sensitivity and specificity) of a low-cost, POC (point-of-care) anti-HPV16 antibody test to determine/confirm HPV vaccination status. The findings for this study will provide necessary evidence regarding the long-term protection afforded by HPV vaccination in WLWH living in SSA, who are at the greatest risk of HPV-related cancers.

NCT ID: NCT05061940 Terminated - Clinical trials for Head and Neck Cancer

This SCR-103 Protocol Will Permit Sites to Proactively Assess TAA, HLA and HPV-16 Status in Patients With Selected Solid Tumors to Determine Suitability for Repertoire Immune Medicines Treatment Protocols.

Start date: May 5, 2021
Phase:
Study type: Observational

The purpose of this study is to obtain archived tumor tissue or pre-existing antigen expression data from patients with Head and Neck, Cervical, Melanoma and Non-Small Cell Lung Cancers to assess antigen expression and patient suitability for a Repertoire Immune Medicines Treatment Protocol.

NCT ID: NCT04920526 Not yet recruiting - Clinical trials for HPV-Related Carcinoma

Effectiveness and B-memory Cell Response to QHPV Vaccine 9-years Post-vaccination Among HIV-infected Boys and Girls

Start date: August 2021
Phase:
Study type: Observational

In 2013, the Investigators enrolled a cohort of 180 HIV-1 infected adolescent girls and boys ages 9-14 years and administered three doses of the QHPV vaccine (NCT04711265). For this study, the Investigators shall evaluate vaccine effectiveness 9 years post first vaccination. Participants will be evaluated for HPV type specific antibody, genital HPV infection, genital warts and a subset of 30 participants will be evaluated for memory B and T cell responses.

NCT ID: NCT04857528 Recruiting - Cervical Cancer Clinical Trials

Detecting HPV DNA in Anal and Cervical Cancers

Start date: October 6, 2020
Phase:
Study type: Observational

This is a research study for individuals who have cancer associated with human papillomavirus (HPV) and are being treated with radiation as part of standard care for their cancer. Doctors leading this study will use blood tests to find out if they can detect the HPV virus in the blood of study participants before, during, and after radiation treatment. They will also collect blood and archival tumor tissue (from a previous biopsy) to perform other tests in the future that could provide more information about HPV-associated cancers and how they respond to treatment. Participation in this study will last approximately 2 years.

NCT ID: NCT04380623 Recruiting - Clinical trials for Human Papilloma Virus

A Tailored, Health Communication Intervention for HPV Vaccine Hesitant Families

Start date: February 15, 2021
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

The human papillomavirus (HPV) causes 90% of cervical cancers and is implicated in multiple other cancers. The HPV vaccine can prevent the vast majority of these cancers, but it is underused in adolescents, especially among those within vaccine hesitant (VH) parents. The proposed research is to develop and pilot test a tailored, health communication intervention aimed to increase HPV vaccination among VH parents. The proposed research is innovative because no evidence-based health communication interventions target HPV VH parents, and we will use stakeholder engagement throughout this study. The research will add knowledge on how tailored education provided before a doctor's visit can play a role in improving HPV vaccination rates among underserved, VH parents.

NCT ID: NCT04001413 Withdrawn - Oropharynx Cancer Clinical Trials

Therapy for High-Risk HPV 16-Positive Oropharynx Cancer Patients

Start date: September 17, 2019
Phase: Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

Combination immune checkpoint inhibitor and DNA vaccine will result in clearance of HPV DNA biomarkers (oral and/or plasma) for patients with persistent HPV-16 E6/E7 DNA (HPV biomarker) after treatment with curative intent.

NCT ID: NCT03978689 Active, not recruiting - Clinical trials for Head and Neck Cancer

A Phase 1 Study in Patients With HPV16+ Recurrent/ Metastatic Head and Neck Squamous Cell Carcinoma

Start date: July 30, 2019
Phase: Phase 1
Study type: Interventional

This is a multi-center, open-label, phase 1 dose escalation and expansion study evaluating the safety, anti-tumor effect, and immunogenicity of CUE-101 as monotherapy treatment in second line or CUE-101 Combination Therapy with Pembrolizumab in first line patients with HPV16+ Recurrent/Metastatic Head and Neck Squamous Cell Carcinoma (HNSCC)

NCT ID: NCT03795610 Recruiting - Clinical trials for Head and Neck Cancer

Window of Opportunity Study of IPI-549 in Patients With Locally Advanced HPV+ and HPV- Head and Neck Squamous Cell Carcinoma

Start date: March 6, 2020
Phase: Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

The purpose of this study is to investigate how effective the study drug IPI-549 is against types of cancers. IPI-549 is considered experimental because it is not approved by the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for the treatment of cancer. Patients will be treated with 2 weeks of IPI-549, a specific PI3Kγ inhibitor. Tumor tissue for research purposes through core biopsies will be obtained prior to initiation of IPI-549 and at surgery.
