View clinical trials related to Horizontal Ridge Deficiency.
Filter by:this study is aiming to Assess postoperative complications and bone quality and quantity in augmentation of horizontally atrophic maxillary ridge using a 1:1 mixture of autograft and xenograft particulate bone covered with collagen membrane with the new Sausage techniqueâ„¢ versus using the same mixture covered with titanium mesh.
20 subjects presenting with horizontal mandibular ridge width less than 5 mm were selected and randomly divided two groups (10 in each group). the first group received interpositional block grafts (harvested from the chin and ramus) covered with Platelet-rich fibrin membrane. the second group received onlay block grafts (harvested from the chin and ramus) and covered with Platelet-rich fibrin membrane. the grafts are left for 4 months. the alveolar ridge width dimensions is then measured using radiographic analysis using cone-beam computed tomography scans
The objective of this study will be to assess and compare between sub-periosteal self- inflating osmotic tissue expanders used as preparatory surgery before alveolar ridge augmentation and periosteal releasing incision using autogenous onlay block bone graft. The assessment and comparison will be based on: 1. Change in edentulous alveolar ridge in bucco-lingual dimension after alveolar ridge augmentation. 2. Quantity of the soft tissue obtained after soft tissue expansion.
