Filter by:This is a retrospective, monocenter and non-interventional study. Data were retrospectively collected from all patients who completed the BV-Bs scheme in the time period between 1 September 2013 and 1 September 2023.
It is essential to improve clinical efficiency and management of hematological and oncological patients treated on an outpatient basis. The most promising operative way to achieve this result is the development of tele-oncology platforms, that allow not only a telemedicine visit, but also the patient support in the daily management of the disease and related disorders, as well as treatments and their complications. In this perspective, the RITA communication platform should be able to support the patient, the caregiver, the physician and the general practitioner in the management of the disease and its treatments.
The purpose of this prospective, interventional, single-arm pilot study is to evaluate whether virtually delivered group-based physical activity is feasible for adolescent and young adult (AYA) cancer survivors. AYAs who were diagnosed with cancer and have completed cancer treatment will be recruited for this study. This study will enroll 20 participants in total and will last approximately 3 months.

D1. Primary Objective: 1. Determine the immunogenicity of FDA approved COVID-19 vaccination in patients with hematologic malignancies D2. Secondary Objectives: 1. Assess the safety of FDA approved COVID-19 vaccination in patients with hematologic malignancies 2. Analyze the kinetics of immunogenic response over time after receipt of the COVID-19 vaccination 3. Compare the immunogenicity of different COVID-19 vaccinations that will be approved by the FDA 4. Analyze advanced flow immunophenotyping of innate and adaptive immune blood cells in all participants and correlate with response to vaccination
This study investigates whether donors with previous exposure to COVID-19 can pass their immunity by hematopoietic (blood) stem cell transplant (HCT) donation to patients that have not been exposed. Severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2) is the virus that causes the COVID19 infection. This study may provide critical information for medical decision-making and possible immunotherapy interventions in immunocompromised transplant recipients, who are at high risk for COVID19 severe illness.
The purpose of this study is to see whether hematopoietic stem cell transplant (HSCT) patients can consistently eat a diet rich in prebiotics. This type of diet may be helpful in maintaining diversity in the gastrointestinal (GI) system and therefore potentially decreasing risk of other GI problems.
The purpose of this study is to see if the study drug, romiplostim, helps low platelet count caused by the standard blood cancer treatment of chemotherapy and autologous hematopoietic cell transplantation. This study will also look at whether romiplostim can decrease the number of times the participant needs to return to the clinic for platelet transfusions to treat their low platelet count. In addition, the researchers will determine how safe it is to give romiplostim to people with blood cancer who have received treatment with chemotherapy and autologous hematopoietic cell transplantation.
To explore the topic of lung cancer screening following treatment for Hodgkin lymphoma from the perspective of survivors
Cohort study enrolled high-risk Hodgkin Lymphoma patients in first relapse after induction therapy followed after remission either with a systemic imaging-based surveillance (Imaging cohort) or with standard clinical-based surveillance (standard cohort).
