Filter by:The purpose of this study is to evaluate the safety and efficacy of ombitasvir/paritaprevir/ritonavir and dasabuvir with or without ribavirin in US veterans with genotype 1 chronic hepatitis C virus infection.
The purpose of this study is to evaluate the efficacy of 6 or 8 weeks of treatment regimen containing simeprevir (SMV), daclatasvir (DCV) and sofosbuvir (SOF) in treatment-naive (not having received treatment with any approved or investigational drug) participants with chronic hepatitis (inflammation of the liver) C virus (HCV) genotype 1 infection with early stages of liver fibrosis or with cirrhosis.
The purpose of this study in HCV genotype 4-infected subjects with compensated cirrhosis is to assess the safety and to compare the percentage of subjects achieving a 12-week sustained virologic response (SVR12), [HCV ribonucleic acid (RNA) < lower limit of quantification (LLOQ) 12 weeks following treatment], to a clinically relevant threshold [based on SVR rates for HCV genotype 4-infected subjects treated with pegylated interferon (pegIFN)/RBV]. The 12 and 16-week arms have been fully enrolled. As of 19 May 2015, they were closed and the two 24-week arms were opened for enrollment.

A Study to Evaluate the Safety and Efficacy of Ombitasvir/Paritaprevir/Ritonavir and Dasabuvir with Ribavirin in Adults with Genotype 1 and Ombitasvir/Paritaprevir/Ritonavir with Ribavirin in Adults with Genotype 4 Chronic Hepatitis C Virus Infection and Decompensated Cirrhosis.
This open-label study will evaluate safety, pharmacokinetics and efficacy of a 12 or 24-week regimen of ombitasvir/paritaprevir/ritonavir and dasabuvir with or without ribavirin in HCV-genotype 1-infected subjects with an Estimated Glomerular Filtration Rate (eGFR) <30, including those on hemodialysis or peritoneal dialysis.
The purpose of Part 1 is to inform dose selection for use of alisporivir and EDP239 in combination and obtain initial safety data for co-administration of alisporivir and EDP239 to support future treatment studies in patients. The purpose of Part 2 is to inform the drug-drug interaction potential of EDP239 more broadly and possibly facilitate the interpretation of lower than expected alisporivir concentrations in Part 1, if observed.
To demonstrate the effectiveness of Daclatasvir (DCV) 3 Direct Acting Antivirals (DAA) fixed dose combination in Genotype 1 Chronic Hepatitis C subjects.
In this study, participants with hepatitis C virus (HCV) genotype 1 (GT1) who failed prior direct-acting antiviral (DAA) therapy will receive Grazoprevir (MK-5172) + Elbasvir (MK-8742) + Ribavirin (RBV) to evaluate sustained virologic response (SVR) using this drug combination.
