Filter by:This is a multicenter, multinational, prospective, single-arm, nonrandomized, open-label study, planned in of approximately 25 male participants with congenital hemophilia A who will receive their first (primary) immune tolerance induction (ITI) treatment with alphanate. The study consists of 2 phases: - An ITI Treatment Phase in which all eligible participants will receive ITI treatment with alphanate for a period of up to 33 months. Upon confirmation of complete immune tolerization, participants will then enter a 12-month Prophylactic Phase. If, after 33 months of ITI, a participants has achieved partial immune tolerance, the participants will enter a 12-month Prophylactic Phase. - A 12-month Prophylactic Phase for all participants who meet the criteria for complete or partial success to continue on a prophylactic dosing regimen of alphanate. Due to limited enrollment, this study was early terminated.
This study aims to observe the safety and efficacy of the Xyntha Solofuse prefilled syringe in the setting of routine practice. The primary objective is to detect medically significant events (factor VIII inhibitor). The secondary objective is to observe the overall efficacy and safety of the Xyntha Solofuse prefilled syringe including serious adverse events. In this open-label, non-comparative, observational, non-interventional, retrospective and multi-center study, post-marketing surveillance data will be collected retrospectively for up to 6 months from the initial administration day of the Xyntha Solofuse prefilled syringe injected into patients who have been administered the Xyntha Solofuse prefilled syringe. As specified in the product approval issued by the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety, the study will be conducted for 4 years from the approval date. At least 600 study subjects will be enrolled in this study to meet the MFDS requirements. Although 600 is the assigned number of study subjects, the number of cases will be adjusted considering the actual number of enrolled subjects after the study start day.
The primary objective of this study is to investigate weekly prophylaxis dosing regimens used in standard clinical practice. In addition the study will capture reported bleed rate, pattern of change in KOVALTRY prophylaxis dose & dosing frequency, reason for choice of treatment regimen, FVIII product switch pattern, patient treatment satisfaction and adherence, KOVALTRY pharmacokinetic data (if performed), KOVALTRY consumption, as well as safety data.
Recombinant factor VIII Fc (rFVIIIFc) and recombinant factor IX Fc (rFIXFc) are extended half-life coagulation factors approved by Health Canada in 2014 for the treatment of severe hemophilia A and B, respectively. The objectives of this observational study is to describe the change in annual factor consumption, clinical and patient-reported outcomes for patients who switch from recombinant factor VIII (rFVIII) and recombinant factor IX (rFIX) to rFVIIIFc/ rFIXFc in Canada, and to explore clinicians' and patients' reasons for switching or not switching.
Research Question: Does an specific and pre-defined physical exercise prescribed by a specialist provide any benefit on haemophilic arthropathy, the quality of life or the physical condition of patients with haemophilia A and haemophilic arthropathy? Does adherence to physical exercise improve when monitoring patients with an accelerometer? Do compliant patients find higher benefit on haemophilic arthropathy, quality of life or the physical condition than non-compliant patients? Primary Endpoint: Assess in patients with haemophilia A and haemophilic arthropathy if a prescribed and specific physical exercise monitored by an accelerometer is producing any change in the following domains: progress of haemophilic arthropathy; health-related quality of life; physical condition. Secondary Endpoints: Evaluate the adherence to physical exercise in patients with haemophilia A and haemophilic arthropathy by means of accelerometry, and asses if compliant patients achieve higher improvement in these 3 domains than non-complaint patients.
