NCT ID: NCT05664711 Active, not recruiting - Clinical trials for Chronic Fatigue Syndrome

Effect of Stellate Ganglion Block on ME/CFS

SGB_ME
Start date: March 15, 2023
Phase: Phase 1
Study type: Interventional

The goal of this clinical trial is to study the effects of stellate ganglion block (SGB) in participants with myalgic encephalomyelitis/chronic fatigue syndrome (ME/CFS). The main questions it aims to answer are: Does SGB treatment improve symptoms of ME/CFS (e.g. brain fog, fatigue)? Do changes in symptoms go along with changes in blood or saliva? Participants will receive a total of six blocks over three weeks (one block on each side, one day apart, per week). Prior to treatment and at two points following treatment, participants will complete surveys, take a cognitive (puzzle type) test, and provide blood and saliva for analysis. Participants will measure their heart rate daily using a free smart phone app.

NCT ID: NCT05587023 Active, not recruiting - Clinical trials for Possible Molecular Mechanism of Left Stellate Ganglion Block

Effect of Ultrasound-guided Left Stellate Ganglion Block on Rapid Recovery of Patients Undergoing Cardiac Valve Replacement and Its Mechanism

Start date: January 1, 2021
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

In this study, Valve replacement patients undergoing cardiopulmonary bypass were randomly divided into control group and experimental group (SGB Group) , main outcome measures: postoperative complications (pulmonary infection, oxygenation injury, arrhythmia, hemorrhage, enteroparalysis, incision infection, renal insufficiency, cognitive impairment, etc.) and 30-day mortality. Secondary outcome measures: Hemodynamics, postoperative extubation time, length of stay and total cost of hospitalization. To investigate the effect of SGB on the rapid recovery of patients with Valve replacement heart disease after cardiopulmonary bypass.

NCT ID: NCT04727216 Active, not recruiting - Pain, Chronic Clinical Trials

Intermittent vs. Continuous Dorsal Root Ganglion Stimulation

Start date: March 23, 2021
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

The purpose of this study is to evaluate and compare the therapeutic efficacy of intermittent Dorsal Root Ganglion Stimulation (DRG-S) to standard continuous stimulation in patients with chronic intractable pain

NCT ID: NCT03407820 Active, not recruiting - Clinical trials for Carpal Tunnel Syndrome

Different Sutures in Hand Surgery

Start date: January 31, 2018
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

This study aims to assess the relationship between overall satisfaction with treatment in a group of randomized patients undergoing elective hand surgery using either absorbable (4-0 Chromic) or non-absorbable (5-0 Nylon) sutures. The investigators will also assess factors associated with wound concerns, pain intensity, magnitude of limitations, and physical function within one month of surgery.
