The main objective of this research is to demonstrate that the use of insoles of different hardness in motorcycle riders may cause variations in the electromyographic activity of the lower limb muscles during the race. This study is a cross-over quasi-experimental study. Nine motorcycle riders were recruited. Electromyographic activity of the lower limb muscles is recorded under different insole types.
The primary objective of this trial will be to demonstrate the ability of a 3/4 length foam insole to provide relief from pain due to plantar fasciitis or general heel pain when used in footwear over a 4-week period of time
The purpose of the research is to compare the influence of customized foot orthoses use on the venous status among healthy female and male subjects. This is a quasi-experimental study which included 20 healthy subjects. Sociodemographic and medical record data are registered. Furthermore, venous function is evaluated by plethysmography, first, without orthoses and, after 20 days, with orthoses.
