Data will be collected in two cooperating cardiac centers (Department of Cardiology, The Copper Health Center, Lubin, Poland, and Department of Cardiology, Provincial Specialized Hospital in Legnica, Poland).

Climate change represents a global crisis with far-reaching implications for health, including mental health. Among vulnerable populations, such as nursing students, climate change anxiety is emerging as a noteworthy concern. Recognizing the need to address this issue, our research aims to investigate the impact of a virtual-based program on climate change awareness, anxiety levels, and self-efficacy among nursing students. As future healthcare professionals, nursing students play a pivotal role in promoting sustainable health practices and addressing the health impacts of climate change. This study seeks to contribute valuable insights into the effectiveness of virtual interventions in raising awareness and enhancing the coping mechanisms of nursing students in the face of climate change challenges.
The goal of this randomized trial is to test the effectiveness of two universal classroom-based mindfulness social and emotional learning (SEL) programs (one for students and one for teachers) by examining behavioral outcomes on 5th and 6th grade students and their teachers. The main questions it aims to answer are: - What are the singular and combined effects of a mindfulness-based SEL education programs for teachers and their students on the development of students' and their teachers' social, emotional, and cognitive competence, and well-being? - Can mindfulness-based SEL education programs for students and teachers foster the creation of caring, inclusive, equitable, and collaborative classroom contexts? - Can mindfulness-based SEL education programs support the development of students' and teachers' prosocial attitudes, mindsets that positively impact student learning? - Are the effects durable beyond the end of the programs with regard to the singular and combined mindfulness-based SEL interventions? A total of 24 classrooms will be randomized into one of three study conditions: 1. Mindfulness SEL program for Educators only 2. Mindfulness SEL program for Educators and Mindfulness SEL program for Students in combination, and 3. "Business as usual" (comparison groups in which regular classroom SEL curricula is implemented). Data will be obtained via multiple objective and subjective methods (e.g., self- and teacher-reports, peer behavioral assessments) from different sources (e.g., self-, peer-, and teacher-reports). Data will also be collected to monitor implementation of the two programs. To explore the ways in which these two programs impact student, teacher, and classroom outcomes, data will be analyzed to compare students and teachers in the three conditions. In Phase One (year one), the investigators will conduct an experimental "outcome" study to examine the singular and combined effects of the two programs by comparing pre-test and post-test measures across the three conditions. In Phase Two (year two), the investigators will conduct a six-month follow up with those teachers and students who participated in Phase One in order to determine the degree to which the program effects are durable after the program has ended.
Human papillomavirus (HPV) is currently one of the most common sexually transmitted infections, according to its carcinogenicity is divided into high-risk genotypes and low-risk genotypes, research has confirmed that carcinogenic HPV type continuous infection leads to a higher incidence of condyloma acuminatum and cervical cancer, while increasing the oropharyngeal cancer, vaginal cancer and other related cancer risk. HPV vaccines have been widely introduced worldwide to prevent cancers of the lower genital tract such as cervical, anal and vulvar cancers. For different types of HPV vaccine, divided into domestic bivalent, imported bivalent (GlaxoSmithKline), quadrivalent (Merck) and nine-valent (Merck) HPV vaccine, four vaccines all prevent HPV 16/18 high-risk type infection disease, and the four and nine-valent HPV vaccine prevention genotypes are different, and different price number of protection rates, vaccination objects and immunization procedures are slightly different. At the same time, studies have shown that women after HPV vaccine, arm redness, swelling, heat and pain have a high incidence of adverse reactions, often accompanied by menstrual disorders, sleep problems, emotional irritability, fever, dizziness, headache and other adverse reactions risk, so we plan to design a multicenter cohort study to evaluate the effectiveness of HPV vaccine with different prices. At the same time, the adverse reaction symptoms of HPV vaccine in the female population of appropriate age were monitored.
Lower Silesia Shockwave Registry (LSSR), is a observational registry collecting all consecutive cases of percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) performed with the support of shockwave intravascular lithotripsy in two cooperating cardiac centers (Department of Cardiology, The Copper Health Centre, Lubin Poland, and Department of Cardiology, Provincial Specialized Hospital in Legnica, Poland).
The goal of this randomized, controlled clinical trial is to test a new concept for communication skills training (on-site supportive communication training (on-site SCT) in cancer care. The study aims to determine the impact of on-site SCT on patients' rating of oncologists' communication abilities. Oncologists participating in the study will be randomly allocated to the intervention or control group. In the intervention group each doctor will have a total of three intervention days at intervals of 3-4 weeks. On an intervention day, a psychologist will sit in and observe doctor-patient consultations. After the first consultations, 30 minutes are allocated for feedback to the doctor by the psychologist. After the last consultation of the day, 60 minutes are allocated for thorough feedback and establishment of learning goals to focus on until the next intervention day. Doctor's in the control group will conduct communication as usual. Researchers will compare the control and intervention groups to see if patients' rating of doctors' interpersonal and communication skills increase when the doctors have participated in on-site SCT. The 15-item Communication Assessment Tool (CAT) will be used. It will also be investigated whether on-site SCT increases the doctors' rating of themselves in relation to communication efficacy and job satisfaction and decrease their experience of burnout.
Endoscopic ultrasound (EUS) is a widely recognized tool for over 30 years for diagnosing intra-abdominal lesions and gastrointestinal cancers, especially pancreatic neoplasia. In most hospitals, it is the preferred method for sampling using fine-needle aspiration (EUS-FNA) or histology needle aspiration biopsy (EUS-FNB) to obtain cytological and histological material for an anatomopathological diagnosis. It is also recognized by current oncology guidelines. Numerous factors can affect the efficacy of this technique, such as the needle size, type (cytology or histology), number of passes made on the lesion, the presence or absence of a pathologist in the endoscopy room, the experience of the endoscopist, etc. Currently, EUS-FNA or EUS-FNB are recommended interchangeably for diagnosis; however, it appears that histology needles (EUS-FNB) allow for greater diagnostic efficacy by obtaining a cellular block with fewer passes, which allows for more advanced anatomopathological analysis (such as immunohistochemistry or molecular analysis). Regarding the technique for performing the puncture and acquiring the sample, current European guidelines recommend sampling using EUS-FNA or FNB by dry suction with a 10 mL syringe. However, other recognized techniques, such as using a stylet with the "slow-pull" technique (not positioning for or against) or liquid biopsy (which could obtain larger cellular blocks compared to dry puncture), are widely used and could obtain better samples, but there is no clear consensus currently. Investigators' goal is to conduct a randomized clinical trial of three EUS-FNB techniques (dry puncture vs slow-pull vs wet puncture) used in daily clinical practice to evaluate which of the three techniques has greater efficacy in cytological and pathological diagnosis.
