Filter by:Anthogyr Axiom Tissue-Level implants and corresponding Multi-Unit abutments recently enriched the available product range for dental surgeons. This Post-Market Clinical Follow-Up study aims at confirming the safety and performance of these products. The comparison with similar Anthogyr Axiom Bone-level implants will provide additional information on the effect of platform-switching in bone level maintenance for single and two-piece design at the implant level.
Partial or total edentulousness has a significant impact on quality of life both functionally and aesthetically. TBR® Bone Level Implants allow the patient to prevent bone resorption and maintain facial tissue and musculature support. At the functional level, the patient who benefits from implant treatment regains normal masticatory function with all the benefits on the quality of life that this can bring him. Due to the osseointegration of the implant and the biocompatibility of the materials used, the implant treatment remains effective in the long term and makes it possible to maintain the aesthetics of the smile.
CAD/CAM (computer aided design/ computer aided manufacturing) constructed screw retained implant supported frameworks give solutions for the problems arising from the lost wax technique by improving accuracy, adaptation and passive fit of the final restoration. However, concerns about the passive fit of a pre-implant insertion CAD/CAM constructed framework still exists due to the expected errors in imaging, registration, surgical guide construction, adaptation and hence transferring the planned position intra-orally.
The result of the study will demonstrate that the functional activity of maxillofacial area with edentulous posterior bounded spaces recovers more effectively in patients treated with restorations on implants comparing to patients treated with fixed dentures.
This study is designed to recall all patients who have received a full-arch monolithic zirconia implant supported fixed dental prosthesis in the University of North Carolina (UNC) School of Dentistry Graduate Prosthodontic and/or Dental Faculty Practice clinics between January 1, 2008 to September 1, 2015. The main purpose is to evaluate the biological and technical complications associated with this form of prosthetic treatment. Additionally patient centered outcomes will be evaluated.
this study was conducted to clarify the effect of two different attachments on patient satisfaction and marginal bone loss. The primary and secondary objectives are to determine patient satisfaction and the marginal bone loss around implant when using CM LOC compared to conventional ball attachment. all the patients will receive a single median implant to which the denture will be loaded upon using the two different attachment systems
This is a two-year prospective randomized clinical study to to evaluate whether the gingival thickness and insertion depth of dental implants have any influence on marginal bone levels changes around platform switched implants.
The purpose of this study is to evaluate the clinical results of implant-retained mandibular overdentures in edentulous patients.
The purpose of this study is to investigate to what extent IOs improve the functionality of edentulous patients and changes in quality of life and overall patient satisfaction following treatment with IOs.
The purpose of this study is to evaluate the effectiveness of a simplified technique of conventional dentures fabrication, comparing it to a traditional technique, by evaluating the impact of oral health on quality of life, satisfaction of individuals and chewing efficiency as well assessing the quality of prosthetics and TMD. Furthermore, the cost involved in the manufacture of dentures through technique simplified will be compared to the cost involved in the traditional technique.
