This project is designed as a prospective, randomized, comparative study evaluating the use
of a negative pressure vacuum device in treating draining hematomas following traumatic
injury.
Interventional studies are often prospective and are specifically tailored to evaluate direct impacts of treatment or preventive measures on disease.
