Filter by:The purpose of this registry is to record information and evaluate the impact of Endoscopic Ultrasound (EUS) Guided Endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography (ERCP) on the management of pancreatico-biliary disorders. The registry will evaluate efficacy, safety and technical success of the Endoscopic Ultrasound (EUS)Guided Endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography (ERCP) procedures. The safety and efficacy of various EUS-Guided ERCP procedures have been assessed in a series of studies. This multi-center registry has been initiated: - To document the impact of EUS-Guided ERCP procedures on the management of pancreatico-biliary disorders including malignancies. - To assess the clinical and technical success rates of EUS-Guided ERCPs for diagnostic or therapeutic procedures. Design is retrospective and prospective registry study. Procedures that will be captured include: 1. EUS-Coils placement 2. EUS Glue injection 3. EUS-Fiducial placement 4. EUS-Neurolysis 5. EUS-Stent placement 6. EUS-alcohol injection 7. EUS-fluid collection, abscess or cavity drainage 8. EUS guided ductal drainage 9. EUS-guided Ablation 10. EUS-guided anastomosis 11. EUS Guided ERCP for gallbladder, pancreatic duct or biliary duct drainage
Background: Functional abdominal pain disorders (FAPD) are common in school-aged children; however, there is no reliable treatment. Aim: To determine the efficacy and safety of glucomannan for treating FAPD in children. Trial Setting: Department of Pediatrics, The Medical University of Warsaw. Intervention: Patients will be enrolled in a double-blind, randomized controlled trial in which they will receive either glucomannan (10g) or placebo for 4 weeks.
The main purpose of the protocol is to collect and evaluate performance data after patients undergoing various interventional endoscopy procedures performed at H. H. Chao Comprehensive Digestive Disease Center (CDDC).
Study objectives - To evaluate the safety, tolerability, and pharmacokinetics of escalating single oral doses of CJ-12406 in healthy male subjects. - To evaluate the pharmacodynamics of CJ-12406 after multiple oral administrations to healthy male subjects. - To evaluate the effect of food on the pharmacokinetic of a single oral dose of CJ-12406 in healthy male subjects.
This is a Phase 3: Efficacy Study for AMARGOL® a phytomedicine used for asymptomatic digestive complaints.
Orthotopic liver transplantation (OLT) is currently the most effective method for end-stage liver diseases. However, the critical shortage of donor organs, high cost, and the problem of immune rejection limit its clinical application, and even some patients on the waiting list will never survive to receive a matched liver. Stem cell transplantation instead of conventional medical therapy or orthotopic liver transplantation will be a promising alternate approach to regenerate damaged hepatic mass. Adult mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) are generally thought of as an autologous source of regenerative cells in previous studies. In this study, the safety and efficacy of menstrual blood-derived stem cells transplantation for patients with liver cirrhosis will be evaluated.
Unsedated or slightly sedated colonoscopy has fast recovery time, less cost and lower or no incidence of drug-related side effects. May be slightly painful or discomforting for the patient. Based on numerous recent reports, the investigators designed this randomized controlled trial hypothesizing that the use of warm water irrigation versus air insufflation during the insertion phase of colonoscopy might increase the global tolerability of the examination and the proportion of patients undergoing complete colonoscopy without sedation or with a low dose of sedatives.
This study aims at collecting the information related to the safety and effectiveness in the pancreatic exocrine insufficiency patients receiving the treatment with LipaCreon for a long term in order to evaluate the effective and safe use of LipaCreon.
This study aims at collecting the information related to the safety and effectiveness in the pancreatic exocrine insufficiency patients due to cystic fibrosis receiving the treatment with LipaCreon in order to evaluate the effective and safe use of LipaCreon.
An open-label, single centre, randomised, cross-over study to examine the effect of ulimorelin on the pharmacokinetics of midazolam after repeat dose administration of ulimorelin in healthy volunteers.
