Filter by:This study aimed to investigate methods for promoting infection control, reducing tissue edema, and preventing excessive spread in diabetes foot ulcers in the necrosis stable stage. Additionally, it sought to explore potential indications for the use of aseptic wound care liquid dressings in these ulcers, with the goal of obtaining evidence-based medical data on their clinical efficacy. Participants will be assigned with a 1:1 ratio into intervention group and control group. Participants in the intervention group will be irrigated with sterile liquid dressing for each wound treatment on the basis of clinical standard treatment protocols for 2 weeks, until the end of the 2-week observation period. Participants in the control group will be irrigated with normal saline for each wound treatment for 2 weeks on the basis of the clinical standard diagnosis and treatment plan, until the end of the 2-week observation period.
The aim of this post market clinical follow up (PMCF) study is to confirm the performance of Suprasorb® A + Ag wound dressing and rope, to collect safety data regarding expected adverse events and to detect potential unexpected adverse events associated with use of Suprasorb® A + Ag wound dressing and rope within the certified indications and under the conditions of routine use.
The PuraPly AM case series is a prospective, observational study for patients who have received PuraPly AM which consists of a collagen sheet coated with polyhexamethylene biguanide hydrochloride (PHMB) and is intended for the management of wounds; no experimental intervention is involved.

Epidermal grafts are believed to promote healing by two mechanisms: graft take and the promotion of wound healing through the delivery of growth factors and the essential elements of tissue repair and wound healing.28 This study is intended to establish the superior effectiveness of epidermal grafting and multi-layer compression over that of multi-layer compression alone, in the treatment of venous leg ulcers. Millions of Americans are afflicted with painful, open, draining sores on their lower extremities. These sores are referred to as venous leg ulcerations (VLUs). Under the best of circumstances these ulcers require weeks or months to heal. Not uncommonly wound care specialists see patients who have suffered for years or faced amputation of the limb as their only option to alleviate the pain. Standard of care will result in healing in 50% of venous leg ulcers in 12 weeks. However, roughly half of patients suffering from venous ulcers will require advanced therapy. Epidermal grafting has been a reconstructive option for decades; however, to date there has not been a reliable and reproducible system to harvest epidermis. The CelluTome® Harvesting System permits the harvesting of epidermal blister grafts at the patient's bedside without the need for anesthesia. The grafts can be easily transferred to the wound bed. In case studies, epidermal grafting appeared to be effective in reducing wound size and accelerating closure of venous leg ulcers.
The clinical study is designed to assess the effectiveness, safety and non-immunogenicity of fish skin wound dressing extracellular matrix (ECM) in treating chronic wounds. The wound dressing is indicated for the management of difficult to heal and chronic wounds. The matrix is cut to fit the wound and is applied to the wound bed. An absorptive secondary dressing is put on top. Further dressing of the wound depends on the etiology. The indications for use are: - partial and full-thickness wounds - pressure ulcers - venous ulcers - diabetic ulcers - chronic vascular ulcers - tunneled/undermined wounds - trauma wounds (abrasions, lacerations, second-degree burns, and skin tears)
