NCT ID: NCT05361980 Recruiting - Pediatric ALL Clinical Trials

Pediatric Orthopaedic Implant Safety & Efficacy

Global POISE
Start date: January 6, 2022
Phase:
Study type: Observational [Patient Registry]

Implant devices are important tools - their use is essential across a number of orthopaedic indications, including hip conditions, trauma and limb deformity. Given the vital role fixation devices play in maintaining alignment, promoting healthy bone healing and preventing joint degeneration, it is essential to understand the expected lifetime outcomes of these implants, and evaluate their safety and efficacy. Prospective implant efficacy and safety registries are needed to support this endeavour, especially considering new regulatory requirements from the European Union Medical Devices Regulation (EU MDR) in relation to post-market clinical follow-up (PMCF).

NCT ID: NCT05251961 Not yet recruiting - Deformity of Limb Clinical Trials

The Use Of Growing Rods In Pediatric Long Bones Deformity Correction

Start date: April 1, 2022
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

The objective of this study is to evaluate the value of growing rods for the correction of long bone deformities in pediatric cases attending Sohag University Hospital and follow up aiming at determining benefits and obstacles to this technique

NCT ID: NCT05241691 Completed - Joint Diseases Clinical Trials

Retrospective Evaluation of GGPSP's Safety and Clinical Performance for the Treatment of Lower Limbs Deformities.

Start date: November 16, 2021
Phase:
Study type: Observational

Orthofix is conducting this retrospective Post-market clinical follow up (PMCF) study to assess the safety and clinical performance of the GGPSP device, which is a new version of the Guided Growth Plate System (GGPS) from which it differs for small modifications compared to the original design. The purpose of the study is to collect clinical evidence from the use of the device in a representative number of pediatric patients who have already been treated with the device in the study and with at least one control visit post removal of plaque.. For this purpose, a retrospective PMCF study was considered to be the most appropriate study design to obtain the necessary information.

NCT ID: NCT04752995 Completed - Deformity of Limb Clinical Trials

Proximal Tibial Osteotomy Osteoclasis In Infantile Genu-Varum

Start date: January 2013
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

Genu-varum is a common problem encountered in pediatric orthopedic. Correction of pathological deformity is mandatory to ensure normal load transfer through the knee. In this study, the investigators describe a new technique of osteotomy osteoclasis in order to evaluate if it is an effective and reliable method in management of infantile genu varum

NCT ID: NCT04235517 Recruiting - Deformity of Limb Clinical Trials

RSA Study on the Behaviour of the Growth Plate During and After Temporary Hemi-epiphysiodesis and Epiphysiodesis

Start date: January 2017
Phase:
Study type: Observational [Patient Registry]

By using radiostereometric analysis (RSA) we will be able to study growth during and after temporary epiphysiodesis and with great accuracy be able to detect asymmetric growth following this procedure. By using the same method we also want to analyse patients with axial deviations operated with guided growth (tension band plating) to study the growth during and after the procedure and be able to set the correct timing for removal of the implant.

NCT ID: NCT01542580 Recruiting - Clinical trials for Rheumatoid Arthritis

A Prospective, Clinical Investigation of the Vanguard 360 Revision Knee

Start date: March 2012
Phase:
Study type: Observational

The purpose of this study is to evaluate performance of the Vanguard 360 revision knee system utilizing offset on either the tibial component, femoral component, or both in terms of the restoration of mechanical alignment, clinical outcomes and survivorship.
