NCT ID: NCT05835583 Completed - Schizophrenia Clinical Trials

Theory Based Integrated Program on Medication Adherence Among Community Dwelling Schizophrenia

Start date: August 1, 2021
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

This clinical trial aims to evaluate the effectiveness of the theory-based integrated program in promoting medication adherence in patients with schizophrenia. The purpose of this study are: - To explore the effectiveness of the theory-based integrated program in promoting community-based schizophrenia patients' adherence to medication(like :motivation, attitude and behavior) - To explore the effectiveness of the theory-based integrated program in improving the psychiatric symptoms of patients with schizophrenia in the community. Participants (the experimental group) received routine home visits from psychiatric mental nurses, including drug administration, drug side effects and symptom management, life care, and the theory-based program provided by the researcher(treatment as usual + the theory-based integrated program). The comparison group: received routine home visits from psychiatric mental nurses, including drug administration, drug side effects, and symptom management, life care,(treatment as usual).

NCT ID: NCT05834790 Completed - Aged Clinical Trials

Effectiveness of Mobile Augmented Reality (MAR) on Oral Healthcare Education for the Independent Elderly

Start date: April 1, 2023
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

The goal of this clinical trial is to learn the outcomes of Mobile Augmented Reality (MAR) for oral health education program in the independent elderly. The main question it aims to answer is: • Can MAR for oral health education program provide better outcomes comparing to lecture-based education program and no intervention group. The activity centers from the list will be randomly chosen and assigned to MAR, lecture, and no intervention groups. - Participants from activity centers that were assigned as MAR and lecture groups will attend one time education program. They have to finish questionnaires 3 times and receive 2 times oral examination. - Participants from activity centers that was assigned as no intervention group will not attend any education program. They have to finish questionnaires 2 times and receive 2 times oral examination.

NCT ID: NCT05832905 Completed - Panic Disorder Clinical Trials

Mobile-assisted Case Management for Panic Disorder

MCM
Start date: June 15, 2020
Phase:
Study type: Observational [Patient Registry]

A panic attack (PA) is an intense form of anxiety accompanied by multiple somatic presentations, leading to frequent emergency department visits and impairing quality of life. A prediction model for PAs could help clinicians and patients monitor, control, and do early intervention for recurrent panic attacks, enabling more personalized treatment for panic disorder. This study aimed to provide a seven-day PA prediction model and determine the relationship between a future PA and various features, including physiological factors, anxiety and depressive factors, and air quality index. We will enroll 200 participants (150 participants join case management with wearables study, 50 participants join TAU group) with PD (DMS-5 and MINI interview). Participants used smartwatches (Garmin vivosmart 4) and mobile applications to collect their sleep, heart rate, activity level, anxiety, and depression scores (BDI, BAI, STAI-S, STAI-T, and PDSS-SR) in their real-life for a duration of one year. We also included air quality indexes from open data. To analyze these data, our team used six machine learning methods: random forests, decision trees, LDA, AdaBoost, XGBoost, and regularized greedy forests, or other deep learning methods.

NCT ID: NCT05832476 Completed - Clinical trials for Arteriovenous Fistula Occlusion

O-GlcNac Modified Proteomics Study of the Maturation of Hemodialysis Arteriovenous

Start date: March 28, 2018
Phase:
Study type: Observational [Patient Registry]

We divided into three parts to carry out. Firstly, evidence the pre-existing fibrosis in vein of AVF failure patients. investigation of expression, the role, and the mechanism by which the identified O-GlcNAac proteins promote, maturation of AV fistula. Finally, ddress and compare the proteomics differentiation between failure and maturation of AVF patients.

NCT ID: NCT05831956 Completed - Clinical trials for Anastomosis, Functional

The Efficacy and Safety of Using Collagen Patch on Anastomotic Site in Colorectal Surgery

Start date: September 28, 2022
Phase:
Study type: Observational

In order to investigate the effects of collagen wound dressing on colonic anastomosis during colectomy, we conducted a retrospective cohort study. The goal of study was to determine whether the use of collagen wound dressing results in improving clinical outcomes for patients undergoing laparoscopic colectomy.

NCT ID: NCT05828134 Completed - Muscle Weakness Clinical Trials

Enhancing Muscle Health and Metabolism in Pre-frail Middle-aged and Older Adults

Start date: March 11, 2021
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

To evaluate the effects of protein-enriched soup plus exercise on muscle mass and muscle strength. Besides, the investigators use the valued-based healthcare standard set as well as the Center for Epidemiological Studies-Depression, Charlson's comorbidity index Montreal Cognitive Assessment , and Mini Nutritional Assessment as outcome measures and to use the trial in validate additional supplement protein-enriched soup plus exercise could improve the vitality and health of mid-aged and old adults.

NCT ID: NCT05828043 Completed - Clinical trials for Age-related Cognitive Decline

Brain Aging: Muscle-to-brain Axis Modulates Physio-cognitive Decline

Start date: November 1, 2021
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

The primary goal is to develop a multidomain intervention program focused on preserving global or regional brain volume and functions while simultaneously improving physical mobility and cognitive functions in older individuals with mobility frailty. This initiative seeks to unravel the brain-muscle axis mechanisms contributing to the accelerated functional declines observed in older populations. Moreover, our objective includes examining the relationships between the intervention and a broad spectrum of clinical characteristics, phenotypic traits, biochemical profiles, myokines, proteomics, metabolomics, brain imaging, and our previously identified discoveries involving exosomal miRNA.
