NCT ID: NCT04239573 Recruiting - Clinical trials for Pancreatic Carcinoma

Comparing Two Methods to Follow Patients With Pancreatic Cysts

Start date: June 16, 2020
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

The purpose of this study is to compare the two approaches for monitoring pancreatic cysts. The study doctors want to compare more frequent monitoring vs less frequent monitoring in order to learn which monitoring method leads to better outcome for patients with pancreatic cysts.

NCT ID: NCT04239391 Recruiting - Clinical trials for End Stage Renal Disease

Hemoglobin Maintenance in Pediatric ESRD (End-stage Renal Disease) Patients by Ferric Pyrophosphate Citrate (FPC)

Start date: September 1, 2020
Phase: Phase 3
Study type: Interventional

The main purpose is to determine the safety of Triferic iron administered via dialysate and intravenously in pediatric patients with chronic kidney disease on chronic hemodialysis (CKD-5HD). It is a global, multi- center, open-label study.

NCT ID: NCT04233216 Completed - HIV-1 Infection Clinical Trials

Doravirine/Islatravir (DOR/ISL) in Heavily Treatment-Experienced (HTE) Participants for Human Immunodeficiency Virus Type 1 (HIV-1) Infection (MK-8591A-019)

Start date: March 18, 2020
Phase: Phase 3
Study type: Interventional

This is a 2-part, phase 3 clinical study evaluating the antiretroviral activity and safety/tolerability of islatravir (ISL), doravirine (DOR), and a fixed dose combination (FDC) of DOR/ISL (also known as MK-8591A) in heavily treatment-experienced (HTE) participants with human immunodeficiency virus type 1 (HIV-1) infection. It is hypothesized that the percentage of participants receiving DOR/ISL to achieve ≥0.5 log10 decrease in HIV-1 ribonucleic acid (RNA) from study baseline (Day 1) to Day 8 is superior to placebo, each given in combination with failing antiretroviral therapy (ART).

NCT ID: NCT04225260 Completed - Glabellar Lines Clinical Trials

Long-term Treatment of Moderate to Severe Glabellar Lines and Lateral Canthal Lines

READY-4
Start date: January 27, 2020
Phase: Phase 3
Study type: Interventional

This is a phase 3, multicenter, open-label study to evaluate the safety of QM1114-DP for the long term treatment of moderate to severe Glabellar (Frown) Lines (GL) and Lateral Canthal Lines (Crow's Feet and LCL).

NCT ID: NCT04223804 Completed - HIV Infection Clinical Trials

A Study to Evaluate the Safety, Pharmacokinetics and Pharmacodynamics of ABBV-181 (Budigalimab) in Adult Participants With Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV)-1

Start date: January 30, 2020
Phase: Phase 1
Study type: Interventional

This study will be conducted in two stages and will test the safety/tolerability, pharmacokinetics (how the body handles study drug) and pharmacodynamics (effects on the immune system and the virus) of the study drug ABBV-181 in Human immunodeficiency virus (HIV)-1 infected participants undergoing Antiretroviral therapy (ART) interruption.

NCT ID: NCT04223791 Active, not recruiting - HIV Infection Clinical Trials

Switch to Doravirine/Islatravir (DOR/ISL) in Human Immunodeficiency Virus 1 (HIV-1) Participants Treated With Bictegravir/Emtricitabine/Tenofovir Alafenamide (BIC/FTC/TAF) (MK-8591A-018)

Start date: February 18, 2020
Phase: Phase 3
Study type: Interventional

This study will evaluate the safety and efficacy of a switch to MK-8591A (a fixed dose combination of doravirine and islatravir) in human immunodeficiency virus -1 (HIV-1)-infected participants virologically suppressed on a regimen of bictegravir/emtricitabine/tenofovir alafenamide (BIC/FTC/TAF). The primary hypothesis is that a switch to MK-8591A will be non-inferior to continued treatment with BIC/FTC/TAF as assessed by the proportion of participants with HIV-1 ribonucleic acid (RNA) ≥50 copies/mL at Week 48. Participants who benefit from their assigned intervention (as determined by investigator) will be able to continue treatment through a 24-week study extension.

NCT ID: NCT04214067 Active, not recruiting - Clinical trials for Endometrial Endometrioid Adenocarcinoma

Testing the Addition of the Immunotherapy Drug, Pembrolizumab, to the Usual Radiation Treatment for Newly Diagnosed Early Stage High Intermediate Risk Endometrial Cancer

Start date: April 9, 2020
Phase: Phase 3
Study type: Interventional

This phase III trial compares whether the addition of pembrolizumab to radiation therapy is more effective than radiation therapy alone in reducing the risk of cancer coming back (recurrence) in patients with newly diagnosed stage I-II endometrial cancer. Immunotherapy with monoclonal antibodies, such as pembrolizumab, may help the body's immune system attack the cancer, and may interfere with the ability of tumor cells to grow and spread. Radiation therapy uses high energy x-rays to kill tumor cells and shrink tumors. The addition of pembrolizumab to radiation treatment may be more effective than radiation treatment alone in reducing cancer recurrence.

NCT ID: NCT04210843 Terminated - Clinical trials for Chronic Spontaneous Urticaria

Study of Efficacy and Safety of Ligelizumab in Chronic Spontaneous Urticaria Patients Who Completed a Previous Study With Ligelizumab

Start date: April 8, 2020
Phase: Phase 3
Study type: Interventional

The purpose of this extension study was to establish efficacy and safety of ligelizumab. This was assessed in adult and adolescent chronic spontaneous urticaria (CSU) patients who had completed a preceding ligelizumab study and have relapsed, following treatment in these preceding studies, despite standard of care H1-antihistamine (H1-AH) treatment. This study also fulfilled the Novartis commitment to provide post-trial access to patients who had completed studies: CQGE031C2302 (NCT03580369), CQGE031C2303 (NCT03580356), CQGE031C2202 (NCT03437278) or CQGE031C1301 (NCT03907878).
