Filter by:Coronary artery bypass graft (CABG) surgery is one of the most frequently performed cardiac surgery procedures worldwide. CABG has been used for more than 40 years to relieve symptoms and to reduce the risk of death in patients with ischemic heart disease.
The purpose of this study is to compare the presence of graft patency in single aspirin vs dual anti platelet therapy (DAPT) treatment including ticagrelor in patients with acute coronary syndrome (ACS) treated with coronary artery bypass surgery (CABG). Follow up time is 12-36 months postoperatively and the patency will be evaluated with coronary computed tomography angiography (CCTA)
This is a retrospective data collection looking at patients who received either an endoscopic vessel harvesting procedure versus the conventional open procedure. Besides looking at cost variables in the 2 groups, other outcomes of interest include length of hospital stay, rates of infection, medication use, re-admissions and compilations.
