Filter by:The purpose of this study is to determine the relationship between the levels of Ribonucleic acid (RNA) circulating molecules, including ones in extracellular vesicles from different organs in the blood and in the saliva of patients with Acute Decompensated Heart Failure (ADHF) and Chronic Heart Failure (CHF) to see if a new, non-invasive diagnostic test can be developed for heart failure exacerbation.
Sensorum Health (Sensorum) is conducting a pilot study to determine if Sensorum's proprietary passive sensor network can be used to identify signals of early health decompensation in subjects prior to a hospitalization for chronic disease exacerbation or other ambulatory care sensitive conditions. Successful early detection would provide a window of opportunity to intervene outside of the acute setting in future interventional studies.

Single-center, two-arm, parallel, randomized controlled trial comparing enhanced daily assessments for patients with COPD and/or CHF using point of care ultrasound with PRESUNA software (POCUS-PRESUNA) versus standard care provided by home-based acute care through a tertiary acute care medical teaching hospital. The objectives are to evaluate POCUS-PRESUNA on improving patient experience, provider experience, improve healthcare utilization/costs, and to test the feasibility of incorporating longitudinal POCUS assessments in home-based acute care via remotely acquired images by non-physicians.
CHF is a most wild-spread and prognostically poor outcome most of cardiovascular and other disease. Despite of significant progress in treatment of CHF for the last years, death from this pathology stayed very high, reaching 60% for men, 45% for women during the 5 years after establishing diagnosis. The purpose of treatment is creating "seamless" system of care the whole continuum stretch CHF, in this connection, the particular relevance take in creating of new way and strategy with IT-technology mHealth. On the whole, mHealth application potentially suggest economic efficiency solution with continuous access for symptoms monitoring, stimulation of patients to self-servicing, self-controlling and achieving better results compare with optimal medical therapy. So, remote monitoring of patients on the base of mobile application must improve clinical and economic efficiency of medical care received. In trial will be studied efficiency of using mobile application for remote monitoring of patients with ischemic etiology HF, also quality of life, commitment to therapy and prognosis (frequency of cardiovascular poor outcomes). Clinical indicators and tests (Quality of Life Minnesota Living with Heart Failure Questionnaire, Hospital Anxiety and Depression Scale, 6-minute walking test) will be evaluated in the beginning of the trial and repeatly after 1 year. Trial financed by Kyrgyz Republic Ministry of Education and Science.
The study will evaluate the functionality of IMMAGES , an intravenous infusion device system, in patients hospitalized in Bait Balev hospital. The study will aim to determine how the IMMAGES system integrates within IV infusion therapy regime and what are the advantages and disadvantages, if any, of using this system within the prescribed setting.
The purpose of this study is to compare the decision making of subjects with advanced CHF having a verbal discussion about goals of care compared to subjects using a video.
