NCT ID: NCT02864147 Completed - Clinical trials for Cervical Intraepithelial Neoplasia

Treatment of High-Grade Pre-Neoplastic Cervical Lesions (CIN 2/3)

Start date: July 2016
Phase: Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

This is a randomized Phase II, three arm control trial in patients with Cervical Intraepithelial Neoplasia (CIN) 2/3 high grade cervical dysplasia. Patients with CIN 2/3 meeting eligibility criteria will have cervical biopsy specimens centrally reviewed by study pathologist to confirm diagnosis. HPV DNA test and HPV 16/18 genotyping will be performed from endocervical cytobrush samples to determine HPV status associated with the dysplasia. Patients who have CIN 2/3 with HPV+ disease will be enrolled in this study. Patients will be randomized to one of three arms: observation only (control), imiquimod only, imiquimod + 9-valent HPV vaccine.

NCT ID: NCT02858310 Recruiting - Clinical trials for Cervical Intraepithelial Neoplasia

E7 TCR T Cells for Human Papillomavirus-Associated Cancers

Start date: January 27, 2017
Phase: Phase 1/Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

Background: Human papillomavirus (HPV) can cause cervical, throat, anal, and genital cancers. Cancers caused by HPV have a HPV protein called E7 inside of their cells. In this new therapy, researchers take a person s blood, remove certain white blood cells, and insert genes that make them to target cancer cells that have the E7 protein. The genetically changed cells, called E7 TCR cells, are then given back to the person to fight the cancer. Researchers want to see if this can help people. Objective: To determine a safe dose and efficacy of E7 TCR cells and whether these cells can help patients. Eligibility: Adults ages 18 and older with an HPV-16-associated cancer, including cervical, vulvar, vaginal, penile, anal, or oropharyngeal. Design: Participants will list all their medicines. Participants will have many screening tests, including imaging procedures, heart and lung tests, and lab tests. They will have a large catheter inserted into a vein. Participants will have leukapheresis. Blood will be removed through a needle in the arm. A machine separates the white blood cells. The rest of the blood is returned through a needle in the other arm. The cells will be changed in the lab. Participants will stay in the hospital. Over several days, they will get: Chemotherapy drugs E7 TCR cells Shots or injections to stimulate the cells Participants will be monitored in the hospital up to 12 days. They will get support medicine and have blood and lab tests. Participants will have a clinic visit about 40 days after cell infusion. They will have a physical exam, blood work, scans, and maybe x-rays. Participants will have many follow-up visits with the same procedures. At some visits, they may undergo leukapheresis. Participants will be followed for 15 years.

NCT ID: NCT02814448 Completed - Clinical trials for Cervical Intraepithelial Neoplasia

An Innovative Treatment for Cervical Pre Cancer

CryoPen
Start date: February 2016
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

The purpose of this study is to test two innovative devices, the CryoPen® and thermocoagulator, against gas-based cryotherapy to determine whether the novel devices produce equivalent or improved destruction of cervical tissue compared to gas-based cryotherapy. Tissue destruction with single freeze versus double freeze treatments with the CryoPen and gas-based cryotherapy will also be compared.

NCT ID: NCT02811367 Completed - Clinical trials for Human Papilloma Virus Infection

The HPV Self-test as a Test of Cure in Madagascar

Start date: June 2016
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

The purpose of this study is to find out whether Self-HPV may be an accurate method for the follow-up of women with a history of HPV infection.

NCT ID: NCT02780960 Completed - Clinical trials for Cervical Intra-epithelial Neoplasia Grade 1 or Worse

Human Papillomavirus (HPV) Self-sampling as a Test of Cure After Treatment of Cervical Intra-epithelial Neoplasia

Start date: May 2016
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

The purpose of this study is to evaluate the performance of HPV self-sampling (self-HPV) in detecting residual/recurrent disease in women treated by loop electro-surgical excision (LEEP) for CIN1+.

NCT ID: NCT02749110 Completed - Clinical trials for Cervical Intraepithelial Neoplasia

Participation in Screening for Cervical Cancer: Interest of a Self-sampling Device Provided by the General Practitioner

PaCUDAHL-Gé
Start date: August 28, 2016
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

This study evaluates the benefit in women aged from 30 to 65 years, who do not participate to the French opportunistic cervical cancer screening program, of an organized screening with the proposition by the family physician of a pap-test (usual care) versus a self-collected vaginal sample (and a HPV-test). 24 family physicians will participate and will be randomized in the usual care arm (12) or in the self-sampling arm (12). Our hypothesis is that organizing the screening for these women involving their family physician will major participation, and that the self-sampling option will amplify this increase.

NCT ID: NCT02740777 Completed - Clinical trials for Cervical Intraepithelial Neoplasia

Evaluating the 2-dose Immunization Schedule of Human Papillomavirus (HPV)-16/18 in Adolescent Females

Start date: February 2016
Phase: Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

To evaluate the immune non-inferiority, as measured by antibody responses, of a 2-dose immunization schedule (0, 6 months) of recombinant human papillomavirus virus-like particle vaccine (type 16 and 18 L1 proteins, yeast) (hereinafter referred as HPV-2 vaccine) in adolescent females aged 9 to 14 years in comparison to 3-dose immunization schedule (0, 2, 6 months) in young females aged 18 to 26 years.
