Antineoplaston Therapy in Treating Children With Rhabdoid Tumor of the Central Nervous System

Start date: February 1996
Phase: Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

RATIONALE: Antineoplastons are naturally occurring substances that may also be made in the laboratory. Antineoplastons may inhibit the growth of cancer cells. NCT ID: NCT00003015 Active, not recruiting - Clinical trials for Brain and Central Nervous System Tumors

Carboplatin Plus Vincristine in Treating Children and Adolescents With Low Grade Glioma

Start date: January 1997
Phase: Phase 3
Study type: Interventional

RATIONALE: Drugs used in chemotherapy use different ways to stop tumor cells from dividing so they stop growing or die. Combining more than one drug may kill more tumor cells.
