Filter by:Instillation of Bacillus of Calmette-Guerin (BCG) into the urinary bladder (intravesical administration) improves rates of disease recurrence and progression after transurethral resection (TUR) of high risk, non-muscle-invasive bladder cancer (NMIBC), but over 30% of people still develop recurrent transitional cell carcinoma (TCC) despite optimal therapy with adjuvant intravesical BCG. Our meta-analysis, including a recent randomised phase 2 trial, suggests that outcomes might be improved further by using an adjuvant intravesical regimen that includes both Mitomycin (MM) and BCG. These promising findings require corroboration in a definitive, large scale, randomised phase 3 trial using standard techniques for intravesical administration.
This study is a substudy being conducted under one pembrolizumab umbrella master study KEYMAKER-U04. The substudy will consist of 2 parts. Part 1 will evaluate the efficacy and safety of coformulated favezelimab/pembrolizumab plus EV and coformulated vibostolimab/pembrolizumab plus EV relative to pembrolizumab plus EV. There will be no comparison of coformulated favezelimab/pembrolizumab plus EV versus coformulated vibostolimab/pembrolizumab plus EV. If ORR and/or DRR are substantially better on coformulated favezelimab/pembrolizumab plus EV and/or coformulated vibostolimab/pembrolizumab plus EV compared with pembrolizumab plus EV, after evaluation of the totality of data, the sponsor might consider Part 2 (expansion) to further characterize the efficacy and safety of the treatment arms under study.
This substudy is part of an umbrella platform study which is designed to evaluate investigational agents with or without pembrolizumab in participants with urothelial carcinoma who are in need of new treatment options. Substudy 04A will enroll participants with locally advanced or mUC whose disease is resistant to treatment with programmed cell death-1/ligand 1 (PD-1/L1) inhibitors. The protocol infrastructure will enable the rolling assignment of investigational treatments.
This Phase 3, multinational, single-arm, multicenter study will evaluate the efficacy and safety of UGN-102 as primary chemoablative therapy in patients with low grade intermediate risk non-muscle-invasive bladder cancer (LG IR NMIBC).
This phase III trial compares the effect of adding cabozantinib to avelumab versus avelumab alone in treating patients with urothelial cancer that has spread from where it first started (primary site) to other places in the body (metastatic). Cabozantinib may stop the growth of tumor cells by blocking some of the enzymes needed for cell growth. Immunotherapy with monoclonal antibodies, such as avelumab, may help the body's immune system attack the cancer, and may interfere with the ability of tumor cells to grow and spread. Giving cabozantinib and avelumab together may further shrink the cancer or prevent it from returning/progressing.
Prospective observational study to validate the performance characteristics and clinical utility of Cxbladder tests in a Veterans Affairs cohort.
This phase II trial investigates the side effects of tocilizumab, ipilimumab, and nivolumab in treating patients with melanoma, non-small cell lung cancer, or urothelial carcinoma that has spread to nearby tissue or lymph nodes (locally advanced). Immunotherapy with monoclonal antibodies, such as ipilimumab and nivolumab, may help the body's immune system attack the cancer, and may interfere with the ability of tumor cells to grow and spread. Tocilizumab is a monoclonal antibody that may interfere with the immune system to decrease immune-related toxicities. Giving tocilizumab, ipilimumab, and nivolumab may kill more tumor cells.
This is a phase 1b feasibility study of pre-operative immunotherapy in PD-L1 positive resectable stage II-III urothelial cancer patients. This study can be adapted or expanded based on the results obtained.
The purpose of this study is to see how well the study drugs called Ipilimumab plus Nivolumab (IPI-NIVO) work when added to another study drug called Sacituzumab Govitecan for people who have metastatic bladder cancer.
A multicenter ambispective (retrospective and prospective) non-interventional study of patients with locally advanced or metastatic urothelial carcinoma (adv/mUC) treated with avelumab in France, not impacting the treatment decision made by the treating physician and the medical management of treated patients.
