NCT ID: NCT01851629 Completed - Clinical trials for Incomplete Spinal Cord Injury

Walking Adaptability Post-Spinal Cord Injury

Start date: June 2013
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

The purpose of this study is: (1) to establish assessment techniques (in our laboratory) to identify the functional integrity of long spinal tracts associated with adaptive walking recovery post-spinal cord injury and (2) to preliminary investigate locomotor outcomes associated with an adaptive locomotor training approach post-spinal cord injury.

NCT ID: NCT00059553 Active, not recruiting - Clinical trials for Spinal Cord Injuries

Retraining Walking After Spinal Cord Injury

Start date: May 2000
Phase: Phase 2/Phase 3
Study type: Interventional

Incomplete spinal cord injury often results in difficulty walking. Training on a treadmill with body weight support may improve walking ability after spinal cord injury. The purpose of this study is to examine the effect of treadmill speed on spinal cord function and walking performance.
