Filter by:The purpose of the proposed study is to investigate the usefulness of laser speckle contrast imaging (LSCI) compared to indocyanine green angiography (ICGA). We will collect data from a wide variety of neurovascular surgical procedures to determine when the technology is the most clinically useful. The intraoperative LSCI system provides high resolution images of blood flow in real-time without tissue contact and without the need for an exogenous contrast agent. Further study is needed to gain a better understanding of the use of the technique during surgery, but initial results suggest that the ability to identify blood flow changes with immediate feedback to the surgeon could be a significant advantage during many procedures.
To evaluate the safety and efficacy of the Zylox Drug Coated Balloon (DCB) for treatment of subjects presenting with de novo or non-stented restenotic obstructive lesion of native arteriovenous dialysis fistulae (AVF) in the upper extremity in China.
This prospective, multicenter, randomized, controlled study is designed to evaluate the safety and effectiveness of the Tri-wire Peripheral Balloon Dilatation Catheter compared to a standard PTA Catheter in treating subjects presenting with clinical and hemodynamic abnormalities in native arteriovenous (AV) fistulae located in the upper extremity.
The aim of this study is to provide an overview of the possible applications of DUS during the maturation and postoperative follow-up of vascular access, with particular emphasis to establish a relationship between doppler Ultrasound parameters including: 1. Flow volume. 2. Outflow vein diameter. 3. Outflow vein depth. 4. Resistive index.
The transplant is the definitive treatment of renal insufficiency, in our days. While waiting for it, the arteriovenous fistula surgery is standard procedure.
To investigate the effect of pre-operative exercise on 1. Hemodynamics in the fistula artery and vein, pre and post AV fistula formation 2. Suitability of cannulation of AV fistula at 8weeks
The purpose of this randomised clinical trial is to evaluate the efficacy of drug-eluting balloon compared to conventional balloon in balloon-assisted maturation of non-maturing arteriovenous fistula in adult renal failure patients.
Pulmonary arteriovenous malformations (PAVMs) are a rare vascular condition affecting the lungs. PAVMs lead to low blood oxygen levels, yet are very well tolerated by patients. This study will examine the exercise capacity of PAVM patients using formal cardiopulmonary exercise tests performed on a stationary bicycle, and whether this is affected by the presence of concurrent airflow obstruction, such as due to asthma.
The purpose of the study is to investigate the efficacy of the ROX coupler in treating patients with tilt test proven Neurally mediated syncope.
The purpose of this study is to compare the effect of DSA guided percutaneous balloon dilatation, ultrasound guided percutaneous balloon dilatation and surgical repair in the treatment of Stenosis of Arteria-Venous Fistula in Maintenance Hemodialysis Patients.
